He he. I have enough of these now to last a year of dressmaking projects.

I was commissioned to make button back cushions to complete corner seating made by 'Harborough Woodcraft'. Buttons did the job but 3 in packet were weaker than others and pins in back came away. Fortunately I had ordered more than I needed!

I have used these before but this time the thickness of my fabric meant I couldn't fit the back plates on. There are no instructions, but as I have used this type of button it wasn't a problem. To fix the problem of not being able to clip the backs on, after gathering the circle of cloth up around the button mould and stitching it to hold in place I pushed the fabric into the 'teeth' with a small screwdriver. Then I painted PVA glue all over the back to permanently hold the fabric.

Good product but hard to use with thicker material

Tried using fabric to cover and it’s not working . Nothing is working. Absolutely a waste of money and I bought 2 packs. Thin material only to be used .

Using a medium to thin plain fabric you can sew patterns on the fabric and then make into a button they look fabulous.

These are good. They work really well, cover easily but you really do need one of the little £5 tools to press them together. I've had a couple of the twine loops pull out when under not excessive tension, which shouldn't happen but only a couple out of about 100.
