We have this game already and bought this second copy as a present for a young relative. It’s a simple flicking game, taking in turns to be the catcher everyone else has to collect their fish by flicking them through doors hopefully without getting caught. All the kids from 5 to 14 (and the adults too) had fun playing, we have hundreds of games and this is one of our favourites for younger children.

Always a go to game when i play games with my kids, with a collection of over 200 games to choose from this is always in the top 3 of games picked, its a fun simple game, one player tries to catch the other penguins while the others try collect fish, this is rotated until everyone has played the catcher and the game is done.Scoring is a bit more random then i would like as a more serious gamer but it allows younger players to stand a chance of winning... also its such a great feeling when you get that perfect curve shot and either collect 2 fish with one go to catch someone who has done well to avoid you.

Kids (6 and 8 yrs old) loved it, the wife loved it and i found it lots of fun. Skill is probably secondary - and it will require some practice to master the moves. Rounds tend to be quick so nobody gets bored waiting and can enjoy the change of role during the game. Great fun for all the family, will probably order the expansion pack too, although the original game alone requires quite a big space on the table.

A great game for playing with the family at home or on trips away. Takes up quite a lot of room to play but packs away nicely into original box. Only negative is its 4 players and we have family of 5 but with the ice cool 2 expansion it turns it into a 2-8 player game. Only then it takes up even more room so hope you have a big table.

Great game, keeps people moving around and you need to be standing to propel your plastic penguin from room to room on the board. No strategy involved, no brain needed. Just flick your penguin through little doors or over walls. Your fingers will hurt soon enough, but it really is fun. Make sure you can move all the way around the table - angle positioning is paramount.

A very good alternative type of family board game. It is not about knowledge or thinking strategy. Just good old dexterity finger flicking fun. You'll be amazed with the oohs and arghs along the way. The more adult involved the morer intent and banter the atmosphere gets. It design for 4 players which is much better than 2. Would have been amazing if you more teams available but can easily team up or alternate as game are so quick.

A novelty game but quite limited and does not sustain your interest after a couple of times playing. The concept could have been develop further with more obstacles, hazards and player interaction. A little expensive for what it is.

Fab game to play as a family (and with young hearted adults!). Children are aged 4 and 7 and thoroughly enjoyed it as did we. Easy to learn, set up and enjoyable to play. So good I bought one for a friend to enjoy with her family too.
