Q: Does lumbar support adust both in and out, and/or up and down?

Thanks for your question. The right knob controls the lumbar support up and down (Rotate in a clockwise direction to adjust the height, rotate to the bottom in a counterclockwise direction to fix the height). The left one controls the angle of the lumbar support(Back/front).

You pull it forward and then from a seated position it folds up away from you to open flat in front of the seat, pivoting on the side closest to the seat, if that makes sense. It rests your lower legs and is quite good. You can make the chair flat so you can take a nap in it.
