Toy Story 3 Alien Fishing Game

Went to use it tonight and it's missing both fishing poles . Was very disappointed . Will hesitate to buy from this selker again.

Dead on arrival. Broken when we got it. I really cannot recommend anyone try this item. I ignored the reviews because it was just for a party for our son... and we couldn't even use it for that. I cannot believe Disney would put their brand on this.

I have had the older fishing game for years and was so excited to see this Toy Story 3 version Alien fishing game for my son. He loves Toy Story 3 and was thrilled when he opened it. The thrill was short lived. I had to disassemble the entire mechanism and re-work it to get it to function at all. Any movement or the slightest weight from my son trying to catch an alien dislodged the wheels of the motor and the tray. I had to empty the fish out of the very old game and place the aliens in that tray so that he could play with it in some way. Very poorly made and isnt worth any money paid.

This toy is SO cute, I knew my son would love it! I guess I was so excited I did not read the reviews, which I normally always do =( We just opened it and one claw already broke! The other still works but it is almost impossible to pick up an alien with it! you need to jam it on the aliens head, pushing the game board down and causing it to stop! What a waste of money :(

This was a Christmas present for my grandson and within a couple of hours after opening it, it's broken. The little fishing poles do not work and can't be fixed. Kind of a let down--- big time!

It was darling to look at. The two boys tried off and on all Christmas afternoon to get the claws to lift the aliens. Only one time did they succeed. It was heartbreaking to watch my 3 year old grandson, who is so in love with Toy Story items, try and try to play with this toy.

...after you throw it out into a busy highway and encourage traffic to hit it.Seriously, this is one of the worst toys I've ever seen. All of these negative reviews speak the truth- this thing doesn't work like it should. By now, you'd think the maker would've replaced it with a newer version that CAN be played, but nope, this unplayable mess is still being shipped to stores. This is supposed to be a Toy Story take on the classic magnetic fishing game that you can still buy, with the TS Aliens replacing the fish, and you pick them up using the toy machine claw instead of with a fishing pole. Whereas the fishing game works, since each fish has a magnet in its mouth, that's not the case here. Or maybe it is, and it's just plain defective in that aspect too.See, when you turn the game on, the purple area with the Aliens rotates, and some of them pop up. You're supposed to catch those with the claw, but the claw is set in a pretty wide open position, and it rarely closes down on the aliens, regardless of how close you are to them. Be it directly above, touching the sides of the Alien's head, or pressed down on them, 99 times out of 100, you won't catch the Alien. There's no button or anything on the claw stick either- you just dangle it over the Aliens, hoping to catch one. You know it's pretty bad when you really do get excited when you finally catch one of these suckers, especially in a toy store with tons of people around, and go "I FINALLY CAUGHT ONE!".This is just a bad product, and I hope that no good children get this for Christmas or for their birthdays, even if they want it. This is the kind of thing an abusive parent gives to their child, when they want them to think they're getting something fun, but it's really the toy equivalent of being told to go out back and cut a switch. Save yourself the money, and save your kids the torment by not buying this thing.

Terrible toy, I cant believe that the manufacturer would release such a poor product... the fishing poles do not work and the slightest movement will stop the turning mechanism. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.
