I walk for miles on unlit country lanes with no footpaths, in all weathers - sometimes for fun, but often out of necessity as I live in a rural hamlet and don’t drive. I feel a lot safer when wearing this hat. It’s sooo bright (eye-hurting orange) with a light bright enough to see where I’m going. Combined with an equally neon bright and reflective back pack cover I’m much more easily visible in low light. More comfortable than wearing a head torch. My family were helpless with laughter when they first saw me wearing the beanie. However, after realising how practical it is my husband asked me to order him a neon yellow one. He now accompanies me on my travels looking like an elderly Minion.

Very warm, good fit, well made and robust. Light isn’t much to write home about, but adequate for walking and general use. It is diffused, and has a limited range, very cold blue/white like the old LED lamps, but ok for outside use. Generally I think good value, and would buy again.

I bought this for my son. He loves anything orange and this is so bright. Easy to spot him in the school playground at pick up on a dark afternoon and much safer for him crossing roads etc with the headlamp on. Also great to wear through dark passageways at night. Warm and comfy too.

I love this big, mad orange hat! I switched the torch on and blinded myself. Then I put the hat on and blinded my partner. I can't wait to go out walking and blind the car drivers as they approach me. I might just wear this all the time and blind anyone who comes near me! Safety is sexy, guys. The hat is great quality and works really well. Great value for money and stops cars running you over. Get it in yellow and look like a minion. *thumbs up*

No more shouting into the darkness: 'Where are you wife No1?' 'I can't bloody see you!' Now, thanks to this marvellous hat I can see my tiny Welsh wife as we maeander back from a lock-in at the village boozer or wobble home, down the hill that has no street lights, from Tim's house after spending too much time in his hot tub drinking beer, wine and smoking. Would highly recommend to anyone who loves drinking, smoking and has a mate called Tim. Tim is from England and is also married to a Welsh woman. Also highly recommend a Welsh wife to anyone who likes a good laugh; they just don't care...
