This product is as advertised! I have had it for a several weeks now and can attest to it working as described. I've noticed a noticeable difference in the hair on my arms and on my knuckles(it's gone!). The hair on my legs is growing back slower and is actually patchy in spots. My upper lip is fine and almost unnoticeable. My bikini area is growing back much slower and finer. Ad someone with coarse dark hair I use it 3 times a week. I know it may take longer than it might for someone with fine hair. I'm excited for this product.

Some Notes:-I'm Sicilian American, and I have dark hair.-My skin is extra pale right now because it's nearing the end of winter.-I don't shave my legs, I got this product exclusively for my bikini line and upper lip, but I did a test on my leg.-I use an exfoliator and fairly expensive shaving cream. I do not moisturize.So when I got the JOVs, I was worried it was going to hurt, and I figured it wasn't going to work that well anyway. So I shaved a section of my leg as a test. It was the easiest place to access on my body for a test run.For the test, I shaved the leg area once a week. The day after I shower (to give my pores a chance to close so my skin isn't too sensitive) I used the JOVs. I usually do 4-5 setting and went up and down the leg.It only took about 2 months for the hair to stop growing back. I stopped needing to shave at all and just kept using the JOVs once a week for another 2 months ish.Then I stopped using the JOV's about 2 months ago because I don't actually want a patch of hairless skin on my leg. But alas, it remains hairless.I'm having similar success with my bikini line.It doesn't hurt to use. Sometimes it feels like my skin is being very lightly shocked. The only thing I can compare it to is like when you slide around on a carpet in socks and then touch something metal and shock yourself, but much lighter.The cooling setting works for a little while and then it gets somewhat hot. I do my upper lip first now so that its the coolest.I'm really happy with it because my bikini line is sensitive, and I'm getting very close to not having to shave it at all, which is the goal. I will say that I believe the success comes from consistency. Good luck, I hope it works for you too!

This is an amazing product—would give 10 stars if I could. It genuinely works as long as you follow the instructions exactly and are consistent with use. I’ve been using it for about 10 months and now I only need to shave every 1-2 weeks. There are a few hairs where it didn’t take, so it’s not perfect, but I can pluck them pretty easily.

I recieved this 2 weeks ago and already my hair growing slower on legs and not at all on armpits. This is so easy to use. The swivel head means you can actually use it with out all the gymnastics. I would recommend anyone with tattoos to use a lower setting in that area, as tatoo ink heats quicker and can leave a welt. It's quite,portable and so many different functions yet fantastically easy to use. I bought cheaper ones before and they die quickly. You get what you pay for. I use level 6 on 99% of the time and it's not pain full to me. Level one still works if you are sensitive to the zap, only it will take longer to see full results

****Update*** Purchased 17 Jun 2023, Died 1 Aug 2024. For $300 I expected longer use of it. Ad says warranty for 2 years, I used 3x week for about 2 months, then 1x a week. It did not get used that much. I have reached out with no response. Would not recommend***************Life changing!! My skin is ridiculously sensitive, I can only shave 1x week, have tried epilator, waxing, so many razors, everything causes razor burn and irritation with no lessening of growth. Even epilating only made me hairfree for 3 or 4 days. I have light skin dark hair. I started using 3x week as recommended immediately after receiving, I saw results after 1 mo. My legs are virtually hair free and I only use 1x week. Underarm and bikini I should prolly go back to 2x per wk, but hair is definitely WAY less than before, just not hairfree but I did focus on legs. I love it. I no longer feel like my skin hates me. I can wear shorts whenever I want. I am no longer embarrassed by my legs because my skin is no longer red and bumpy with ingrown hair everywhere. Worth every penny. Recommend quick 1 direction shave, not going to see my lover smooth. Light needs basic stubble to ride to follicle.

Was a skeptic at first but used them on my legs and it works amazingly! I haven’t shaved in two weeks and there’s barely any hair. So much more worth it than lasering!
