STAEDTLER 122-HB Noris Graphite Pencils with Eraser-Tip - HB (Box of 12)

What can I say about a pencil? This is a good quality product that sharpens well. The graphite core sits nestled in the centre of the wood centrally and does not not split when sharpened. The wood is good quality as well as it doesn't splinter when sharpened.The colour and general design of the pencil is excellent. I would never mistake it as anything other than a pencil which is useful, especially if I needed a pencil.The pencil works well in its normal 'drawing' mode and comes free with multilingual support allowing you to write actual words in different languages effortlessly. Spell check leaves a lot to be desired but I think that mainly comes down to operator error although they say a good workman always blames his tools. The only disadvantage to this item is that it only operates in one colour, although you can vary the shade. Oh, and it doesn't come with instructions but it is very intuitive. You could actual write your own instructions with it if you so choose (ha ha, ahem)Ironically I am writing this review without the pencil but I am confident that I could pick it up at anytime and use it without having to charge it first or change its batteries.Another feature that I forgot to mention is its practical use as a coffee stirrer. My coffee tasted exceptional after gently agitating the milk, water and instant coffee for a few seconds. It enhanced the flavour and coffee drinking experience better than any scalded finger could.Overall I am pleased with its purchase and would buy it again if I needed to.I hope you enjoyed this review, that's two minutes that you're never getting back.

Excellent value for money, a good quality pencil backed up with a good quality delivery service

The reason I purchased the box of 12 Pencils was due to the box keeping the Pencils that were not being used together and tidy. The Pencils were great but now I have to find something else to store them in until they are needed.

I originally ordered a set of these 12 pencils but when they arrived only 9 were in the packet!. I looked through Amazon’s help section to see how I could get in touch with the seller, but all I could find was the Customer questions section, where I left a comment about there only being 9 pencils in the pack when I paid for 12. If I were able to contact the seller directly I would have got in touch with them first before leaving any negative comment, however I would like to make it clear this is no fault of the seller. Just couldn’t find any way on Amazon to get in touch!. This comment had no bearing on the quality of the pencils ( which are good, and my Son likes using them!). I would like to thank the sellers for sending me out more pencils as a sorry for the original mistake. Would recommend these pencils!.

I’ve been using these for years. I’m a music teacher and regularly need to make notes in students books, which later on need to be erased so these are ideal.Recently I ran out of these (I bought 2 about 5 years ago) so had to use a pencil from a different brand and I couldn’t cope!The rubber on these actually works, the pencil writes nicely, what more could you want. Bought a box of 12 which should last me forever.

I'm sick to death of trying to re-sharpen the silly little pencils I "borrow" from Screwfix, so I thought I'd invest in a pack of decent ones that I could easily find in my cluttered workshop. These are perfect. They last ages, sharpen easily and with the yellow and black colouring, are easy to spot. Fab.

Awesome! Forget the "school" title in the name. These are my favourite HB pencil and are capable of a lot more than just school use. Like most Staedtler pencils, they are a superb quality, they are even manufactured with a formula that helps prevent lead snapping. I can't recommend the humble Noris pencil any higher. They are amazing value and indeed superb quality!I wouldn't normally use a single pencil to complete a sketch, but to give you some idea of what these underrated pencils can do I'll attach a quick sketch.
