Great shape and size. Fill with hickory chips, place on barbecue grid 10 minutes before cooking to get up some good smoke. Makes a gas barbecue more like a charcoal one.

Good quality ,but description clearly states does not fit all bbqs. Recommend measuring your bbq distance and compare to the listed dimensions given. I didn't and the product is just slightly larger. Again no issues with the product just me getting excited about getting one.

This smoker box isn't like the one on the left in the product picture. It is, in fact, as described in the product description only 6 inches long. However, it does work perfectly and is easily cleanable. Delivery was swift and without problem.The picture is just that little bit misleading though.

The angles allow it to sit between the burners on my Landmann grill, although its not a perfect fit. The unit helps provide the smoke effect when cooking meats. It can be difficult to regulate the temperature of the wood chips in the box and to damp them down with water when they flame up. Which can cause burning/ excess charring on the meat.

A very nice piece of kit for the barbecue, just frustrating the weather has been so bad that i havent had much of a chance to use it properly, but i know it fits and works so soon I get smoked slow cooked ribs!!! yum

This is awesome. At last, something that works effectively on a gas grill. I am lucky I bought the long and not the short box. I found it confusing which one was for which type of BBQ but luckily the short was the one I needed. Christened it the day it arrived. Don't expect it to remain perfectly silver after use, but I think it looks even better weathered! Now I am enjoying smoked food on a quick gas BBQ without having to fire up my coals. Perfect.

Great value and works well in my gas barbeque.

Fits nicely on top of the flavouriser bars (Weber gas grills). With the burners turned on low, it starts producing smoke after 20 mins or so, rather than bursting into flame if used on a burner on high heat (i don't bother soaking the wood as I don't find it makes much difference). As such, it does what it is supposed to, but with the design of gas grills, most of the smoke escapes so it has minimal actual effect on any of the food (unless you place the food directly over the box and invert a foil container over the food to capture and hold the smoke). Note that it'd be better to buy wood chunks and cut them to fit in it than use the teeny tiny chips that are sold for this sort of box. That way it'll produce smoke for a while longer.
