Intuitive & very fun toy, at a surprisingly affordable price!
My set up experience:I didn't even bother to attach the button the the feeder. I loaded the dispenser with some high value treats, and just pointed & tapped lightly on the button until my dog touched it with his nose. The second he lightly touched it, I manually pressed the button for him.Within 2 minutes my dog had learned to push the button to dispense the food on his own with my encouragement. After 5 minutes, I was able to move the button over a foot away, and he quickly adjusted to the changeWithin 8 minutes of set up, I was able to leave the room and just listen for the "ding" each time he hit the button and clap and tell him how wonderful he is.I look forward within the next day or so to be able to move the button in another room, and really make him work for it!Pros:The cost is terribly reasonable, compared to things like the CleverPet which run hundreds of dollars. The tone on the button offered the instant feedback he needs to know that he had pushed the button correctly (but isn't so loud it's annoyingI REALLY like the dual tones so I could pick the one he was most attracted to. Since one of them he avoided, and one he lovedCons:Major: The actual dispenser is very lightweight, and an intelligent dog figures out quickly knocking it over gets food quicker. I would suggest a weightier dispenser with a suction cup for the bottom of it (in addition to the one on button)The food holder itself is pretty small, and would like to see it larger to hold a whole 2 cup meal.Overall:I give this one a big thumbs up for ease of use and price, but there needs to be a way to keep the dispenser anchored.

My dog loves it
My dog loves it. We've had it a few months now and it works great. Definitely easier with treats that are all the same size so it's not dispensing too little or too much. I wish there was a way to not have the button make noise, but it at least has two noise options, one of which is slightly quieter/less annoying. Overall though, good way to have my dog get some energy out when it's too hot or cold to go outside.

All in all, a great 'puzzle'
Update to a little over a year later: The machine itself has stopped working and the company has said it's out of the warranty. The most they can do is offer a small discount on a new unit completely. Being that this is used weekly but not daily, it's pretty disappointing that it's stopped working all of a sudden and they can't replace it or anything. Wouldn't buy this brand again.Like most others who have reviewed, this was a great purchase for my pup. He caught on pretty quick! Also like many others, I wish the 'suction' base was better. The grippy part that the button can go in gets flipped over pretty easily, and my dog has figured out that if he flips it over, the button can get trapped and just automatically continue going off until we realize and flip it back over. It's a great energy waster for him though! We've started using it as a slow-feeder tool for his meals (he gets bored when he eats) and he loves it for that. He's terrified to try the button suction cupped to the window, and from what we've seen the suction cup isn't very strong either. My only other complaint is that the treat slot doesn't usually just distribute one at a time, so you have to try and get treats that are more so square/rectangle shaped so it distributes them slower (it would be awesome if they had it be a circular/ovular shape so less can get out). That being said, the fact that the base can plug in is awesome since we didn't have the special batteries on hand, and it's super easy to set up and use. The treat wheel part comes out so it's somewhat easy to clean. And again, the pup loves it and it's great for frigid winters cooped up inside the house! Excited to try it outside!

Button is Faulty
The button broke after one use! The next day it either made the sound but no food came out, or it wouldn’t make sound either when pressed. I always watched my dog use it and he was never rough with it. I should have listened to the other reviews about the button but I didn’t, so heed my warning!

We love it!! (But it’s a bit overpriced.)
This item was a huge hit with our Dalmatian puppy! I hoped it wouldn’t be a waste of money like some other gadgets, and it wasn’t! Whew! She uses it everyday! I do think it’s a bit overpriced, which is why I gave it 4/5 stars on “value for money”. It could come down to the $30-$40 range (we paid $50) and I’m sure still be quite profitable for them - possibly more so since more people could purchase it. As for the item itself... it’s easy to fill and refill, it is made entirely out of plastic, so I hope it doesn’t break on us, but we have had it for almost a year and so far so good. I love it because our pup gets some added exercise as she runs back and forth between the button and the dispenser. So it’s great to get some energy out on her own while we can tend to other things. She just knows it’s a good time and puts a little food in her tummy when she needs a snack. She will ask us to refill it when it’s empty by pressing the button. (She waits across the room, by the button, to listen for the food hitting the tray in the dispenser. If it doesn’t make the noise, she hits the button again and listens... Sometimes is does stick and she has to do this even when it has food in it, but if after a few times still nothing happens (no noise of food hitting the tray), she knows it’s empty and time to get someone to refill it for her! Lol) She is a very smart dog, so it was easy to teach her to use it. However, if you have a breed where intelligence isn’t their forte, I think they can still learn how to use it and enjoy it, as long as you have patience and stick with positive reinforcement training. Once they have it, they’re good to go. After almost a year of use, I can say I still highly recommend it and I would purchase again in a heartbeat. The only downside is when people ask me where I got it Bc they want one for their pets, I tell them and the next question is always, “how much was it?” and when I tell them, I lose them every time. They all say it’s too much and they can’t or wouldn’t spend that much for such an item. I get it. So that’s my only criticism. I hope the makers can take a look to see if they can make this all plastic toy more affordable.

fun brain game
The media could not be loaded. it’s well built, which is nice cause my dog trashed it for awhile trying to figure out how it worked, it’s fun to watch him figure it out, push button has a suction cup as well to stick it to the door or walls but it didn’t suction very well. the treat dispenser is adjustable so we use treats or sometimes it’s how he eats his dinner. he’s a picky dog but for some reason if his food comes out of a toy it must make it taste better

Brilliant
The media could not be loaded. Slightly expensive, but worth every penny. I put her breakfast or her dinner in it and she absolutely loves it…. Took awhile for her to get used to it, but I left her alone and one day I heard the buzzer 😂 I’ve created a monster she won’t leave it alone and box for it when I put it on the cupboard top 😂

Fun, but button doesn't stay put
Our dogs Love this! It is great for super hot or cold days when they can't go out and do much in the yard or go on walks. My only complaint is the button. Our dogs are overzealous and scratch at the button and it flips over. One of the dogs picks up the button and carries it over to the dispenser for efficiency. So I have been using painters tape to tape it down to the hardwood floors 😅 The suction cup is useless. Anyway. I'd order it again, just along with a roll of green tape!
