Just didn’t work for me
What should be a simple device (bend the light) just doesn’t seem to work.Holding it up to a light source you can see it’s flowing through, but there must be something wrong with the transmission through the cable as when you insert it into the end of the chain (between straight plug in fibre cable and Sonos playbar) it just doesn’t recognise the stream...plug the straight cable back in and all is good.So this little dongle just doesn’t seem to do what it says on the tin (and who can be bothered to deal with crappy returns process for a couple quid dongle)

Poor quality but works just about
It works but the rotating end section is very loose and wouldn't click into the optical port of the back of TV. Fortunately my right angled network cable sits just above the optical port and holds it in place. Otherwise it would probably fall out or have an intermittent connection.Basically it works but is terrible quality. I can imagine that if it did click into place trying to remove it would leave the end section stuck in the port because it is barely attached to the larger part of the plug and already moves in and out worryingly.I suppose you can't expect much at this price and at least it solves the problem at the back of my TV allowing it to be pushed closer to the wall.

Inexpensive, and works.
The optical audio output socket on the back of my TV is hidden behind the mounting bracket. I couldn't get a standard TOSlink cable plug anywhere near it. The right angle swivel TOSlink adapter is just the ticket. Small enough to plug into the TV behind the mounting bracket and then can plug a standard TOSlink cable in to the adapter. The connection feels a bit loose, but it doesn't fall out and provides faultless optical digital audio connection between my TV and my Dolby Digital AV Receiver.

90 degree Optical adaptor
Having read various comments about 'loose' fitting on adaptors sold by various suppliers, I decided to try this adaptor, only £4.Have to say that it exceeded my expectations.Very positive 'click' fit, only fits one way round, swivels once fitted to suit angle of incoming cable and is ideal for my use linking TV with Surround Sound system, so much so that I've just ordered another one.I thoroughly recommend it.

Right angled adapter
Does exactly what it said on the tin...Worth pointing out that in my application, this could have gone very wrong as the SPDIF connector has a specific orientation to it. It only fits one way, so make sure you check the photograph carefully and ensure that your hardware will accommodate the cable from the right direction.

Great for tight spaces
Works as advertised. Great for any audio system/tv where your tech is squeezed in a cabinet or attached to a wall. I didn't see hint about which way is up/down and the cable didn't work in my case if it was inserted incorrectly, but it works perfectly.

Does it's job. Useful for wall mounted TVS
This is angled really well so that you can stick the optical cable to 'dangle' rather than portrude. This is probably only useful if your tv is on the wall like mine is as it stops it from touching the back wall, thus preserving the connector port

Perfect for a much neater look to your equipment
Perfect for those tight situations when your audio systems/bluray players are right up close to the wall and you need it to be a bit more flush and neat.
