One of Us Is Back (ONE OF US IS LYING) Hardcover – July 25, 2023

To be fair I thought Pretty little liars was going to be a trilogy too. But I'm hoping this series ends here because the series ended perfectly. You got that perfect needed resolution that you needed, you got background on why Simon was all Simon like in the first book (while he lasted) you got more backstory on Jake that I felt was necessary. This needs to be the ending of this particular series. I loved it from beginning to end. All of them got the endings they deserve and I feel it's necessary to leave it where it is. Series in all is pure perfection. (Wish the series wasn't cancelled though I would have loved to see what they did with this one.)

Honestly, the best of the One of Us Is Lying series! The amount of plot twists was crazy to me, and I enjoyed every second of it. Sad to see my favorite books come to an end, haha! Highly recommend not only this book but the whole series. I finished all three books within 2 weeks give or take.

The first two books were much better.

To start off, the first two books were much better plot-wise. In this book, several of the twists were a bit predictable (or simply too unpredictable) and it lacked quite a bit of foreshadowing. I don't know if it was just a me thing, but the pacing of this book wasn't as good as the other two, either. In the beginning, it was a bit flat, and only towards the end did the book really start to pick up more. It wasn't my favorite, but by no means was it bad. The characters are still interesting enough and there was some exploration into them. Solid conclusion to the OOUIL series.

Purchased as a gift for my middle school aged granddaughter. She enjoyed it so much that I borrowed it and read it myself. (Yes, I returned it after I finished reading it!)

This book is a wonderful conclusion to this wonderful trilogy. Thanks for writing it, your books saved me during quarantine.I recommend it to anyone who loves these characters, anyone who has read Mcmanus’ other novels and specially for those who love a good mystery

Loved every bit of it. Couldn't guess the killer till the last and the plot was deviously planned till the end. Devoured it in one sitting. 100% recommended.

I love that it was full of plot twists .Would recommend to anyone looking for a book to just sit down and read until it's over . Absolutely love it.
