This mat is very strong and well made, quite heavy so will not blow away in strong winds, will look really smart at the front door.

Overall, it is a very nice, sturdy coir mat that adds a bit of style to my front stoop. The material is a bit more coarse than I had envisaged when purchasing, and it seems a bit more difficult to keep the leaves out of its weave when sweeping. If it had been a little more soft, I would have given it 5 stars, but overall, I like the product and would recommend.

After looking for a coir mat with no rubber backing for quite some time, I’m glad to have finally found this. Perfect size for front door and looks good too thanks to the weaved design. With no rubber backing, I’m hoping this mat would be less soggy than counterparts as rain water should in principle drain more easily.

My cat loves his new doormat. He stops for a quick scratch pretty much every time he passes it, and he's claimed it as a good place for a nap.For this reason, it's a bit awkward for use as a doormat, but placed at the bottom of the stairs it's saving both my furniture and my carpet. Honestly, I'd got him in mind when I bought it so I'm well chuffed.As a doormat, it's a couple of cm thick so you'd need a reasonable gap under your open door. And no cat!

I had been searching for a good scratching mat for my cat, as he was starting to pull up the carpet. He has multiple vertical scratch posts that he likes to scratch but it seems like he likes extra variety and also kept going for the carpet on the landing and stairs. As soon as you type in “cat scratching mat” you end up with hundreds of listings of expensive mats, which when you read the reviews turn out to be absolutely tiny. I realised I was being stupid- if he was happy to scratch the carpet then he didnt need anything fancy, a mat or rug be could use instead would do. Enter this mat. It’s super large, good value for money and has that sisal ropey texture that he likes on his vertical scratchers. He took to it straight away and even gives me dirty possessive looks if I pretend to touch it.For people who’ll use it for its intended purpose as a door mat and not a cat mat- I’ve placed his food bowls on this and gotten food on it. Please wait for the dirt from your boots to dry before you dry brush it off. This is definitely not outdoor appropriate- for one it’s rope and two there are holes from where the rope is woven, so double water seepage ways.

I love this door matt so much, I maily bought it because we've got carpets and the previous one wouldn't stay in place. This one does thanks to its materials. Just a shame it doesn't dry off your shoes completely when it's wet outside. Else than that I love it, looks really good and brushes off dirt really well.

Gaps in between are bigger than I thought and if you wipe your boots on them every day, the mat soon looks tatty. It is good to have 100% natural materials etc., but sadly it does not endure well.
