We actually got the stainless steel one but, in any case, we love this electric kettle. It works as well as the first day we got it (a few years ago, I believe). Easy to keep clean, quick to heat, attractive appearance.

This is the fifth time I've bought a Frieling French press. They are well made and work perfectly. I have two for myself and bought three others as gifts. One of the very best purchases I have ever made on Amazon. The original one I purchased several years ago, and it works just as good today, after thousands of uses, as it did on the very first day. Thumbs WAY Up.

Hand wash only or else ou might get some of the paint to flake off.

This is a buy-it-for-life item that I know will last. This is the highest quality french press I have ever owned and is worth the price. I know I will have it forever and it cannot break like glass presses. It actually keeps the coffee warm so I can drink it slowly

Bought this press to replace the failing electric drip coffee maker we keep in our travel trailer. I experimented using it at home & now have decided that I need one for both places! French press coffee is the epitome of the best coffee you will ever drink; there isn't a hint of bitterness or off taste. The procedure is so easy that I now regularly choose to make our coffee at home using this coffee maker more often than not. This one makes about 2 1/2 "large" mugs of coffee or probably close to 4 "regular" sized cups. The whole process only takes about 10 minutes, from boiling the water to brewing in the pot, to the press & pour. The entire device is made of stainless steel, so it is very easy to clean. We now have the BEST tasting coffee in both of our worlds!

I would give this product zero stars if I could. I purchased it on December 15, 2024, for over $100. I didn't start using it until February, and within a month, the finish began to chip. Now, it is chipped all over. This is completely unacceptable, especially since these products are not cheap and are advertised as professional quality. I would like to return it, but Amazon will not accept my return.

Although this is attractive, visually, and appears to be made of the same double walled stainless steel that Frieling is known for, THIS DOES NOT HAVE THE GENUINE FRIELING FILTRATION SYSTEM THAT MAKES FRIELING FRENCH PRESS COFFEE SO MUCH BETTER TASTING! It has the same cheap double filtration system, that most of the other far less expensive stainless double walled French presses have absolutely no need to pay for Frieling if you don’t get their unique filter assembly! This is NOT disclosed anywhere in description. I in fact, on the Frieling website if you look up the real filtration system under replacement parts, it states“All Frieling French Presses shipping after August 2016 already come equipped with this new patented filtration kit.Choose the size that fits your French Press”! Mine is being returned to Amazon the same day it arrived.

Purchased to replace the glass version of a French Press received with an order of ground cacao - as Frieland claims, the brewed beverage does retain heat nicely, and the enamel version I bought looks and feels sturdy. I have not yet tried to clean the unit yet, but I imagine the result will be somewhat messy, a small price to pay for the nice result. I was surprised that the plunger went all the way to contact the lid, but the grounds produced a rich beverage, so I believe the grounds were sufficiently compressed. Totally worth the price for the smooth interior and tight fit of the plunger unit.
