I had many dogs throughout my life of all different sizes and tried many different leads. This is by far the best lead I have ever bought. I seriously mean this is a extremely well made top quality lead. It's just soild and you can see and feel how well its madeI bought the giant 10 meter version and currently useing it to walk a jack Russel to allow him plenty of length to run around as I can't let him off the lead as he runs away. So wanted something long and good quality so he would enjoy his walks moreI have the large jack Russel type and even though I am only useing it for a jack Russel he can run at full speed and as the lead reaches the end of it length as yanks him back on his harness you can just feel its safe and not going to break. All the stop button works very well and feels extremely strong and works instantly when pressed even if the dogs running at full pace. Your also able to lock the lead into a certain length but this stops the spring mechanism from retracting the lead and could allow the lead to drag a long the ground and get dirty. So I don't use this option for that reason. The springs retention power is great and even fully extended at 10 meters the string is strongly trying to pull lead back in which means the lead always stays taught and of the ground and cleanThe fittings on the lead are also very well made and have the company logo stamped onto them. There a lot stronger feeling than the standed clasps you get on most leads. You can just tell its going to last a long timeThe lead was expensive at over £30 but its well worth it. I highly recommend this leadIf I remember Correctly the 10 meter gaint version I got can handle a 50kg dog running at full pace and won't brakeOne thing I will say is that it is big and fairly heavy. Not so heavy that it becomes a effort when out on walks but it is heavy and big. But that's part of what makes it such good quality.If like me you got a dog you can't let of the lead and would like them to have better walk with a massive 10 range then buy this lead. You won't be disappointed unless you maon its to heavySince upgrading to this lead from a different style 8 meter lead my dog enjoys his walks much more. Them 2 extra meters make a big difference to the places he can reach now on at regular walks

For any dog walker that allows their pooch to roam but wants the security of knowing they cannot take off, the Flexi leads are great. For the larger dogs, the smaller Flexi leads are really not strong enough so this lead known as The Professional (Giant) is available. We have been using them for over 40 years as they allow the dog total freedom to roam about during their walk and when you want then back, the lock prevents them going further and the strong spring pulls the lead back as the dog returns to you. The lead is in fact a strong tape made from black webbing and at the full extent, you have 10 metres to play with. The webbing and the housing will virtually last for ever but sadly not the spring which is the only reason we have needed to nuy new leads but that said it has only been 3 in over 40 years.It also is used for training as you can call your dog knowing he is secure but as many know, training goes for nothing with some breeds that deliberately go "deaf" if something is more interesting. It is also worth saying that not every dog walker is responsible and regretably some allow their dogs to run riot causing distress to some children and smaller dogs so the use of this long Flexi allows the dog total freedom until you want him back and you can prevent any unnecessary confrontations before they occur.The handle is strong and has a rubberised grip and if the webbing gets wet it is easy to pull out, lock open so it can dry.A great piece of equipment we would not be without.

We have one Staff, Boxer and Mastiff cross 15 month and one Staff 5 month (both girls). They are young and are very lively and playful and aren't good with recall so can't come off lead yet, we would use a 50 ft canvas lead but it was a nightmare, you would get rope burn, tangling and constantly dragging on the floor. We was very unsure and had no confidence with retractable leads as we feel like they are made for Chihuahuas, Yorkies and Jack Russell's and didn't feel safe letting their strength pull against a retractable lead but we couldn't continue with the long canvas lead anymore. We was searching around and this was the best we could find, good reviews and the strongest with the most length plus we got them on sale (£23 each) so we couldn't say no!They arrived within a few days and we couldn't wait to use them, our first impressions were great, they are really good quality with silky rubber handles and the body part is massive, it felt very strong and sturdy and even the packaging was great, nice and easy to open.We did read that shock absorbers are needed for the pullers or the ones who run and run until the lead ends and they get pulled back and your arm gets pulled off so we brought one each for them as they are the type that need them.When we clipped their new Flexi Professional leads on they were off! They had the time of their lives, the lead is great. We are now very confident in these being able to take the strength of a dog larger and stronger than a Jack Russell. The lead itself is nice and fat and quite heavy too, for some reason the lead never touches the ground which means it doesn't get dirty, wet or ruined and it makes it easier and more enjoyable for the dog not having a lead dragging behind them. When pressing the stop button it will lock for a few seconds before realising again and of course can be locked permanently. The shock absorbers that we got by Ancol for under £4 each were great and a must have for us.Overall we couldn't recommend these enough, they may be a bit expensive but you are paying for the best.Pro's:Great for the larger, stronger dogs that can't be let off leadGreat qualityNice to hold, not too heavyCon's:The wrist strap provided is poor, it's too big and can come undone if having to switch hands like if you have to untangle two leadsNot really a con but it would be great if they were longer, 15 metre's would be great

I like the length and strength and easy stop and start, appears to be well built. Did not like that I had to order from England but am still happy with product would order again .

Ottimo prodotto robusto e maneggevole, ma consigliato a proprietari di cani esperti ed attenti nella conduzione dei loro animali in pubblico. L'uso del "Flexi" richiede una certa pratica e un allenamento chiaramente spiegato nelle istruzioni incluse nella confezione. In caso di cani particolarmente testoni e propensi a dimostrare la propria natura "alfa" con i loro simili, si consiglia sempre e comunque di aggiungere un corto guinzaglietto sullo stesso anello del collare, lasciandolo il loco, per aumentare l'eventuale controllo di reazioni troppo vivaci.

J'ai reçu ma laisse avec 2 jours de retard mais en dehors de ça rien à redire.Mon bouledogue français est ravi de sa "liberté" , de plus le cordon est jaune fluo ce qui est très visible ( sur la photo on le voit en version gris comme mon mari en a une pour notre labrador ) . personnellement je préfère en jaune.L'enroulage est tellement bien qu'a aucun moment le cordon ne frotte par terre.Le poids n'est vraiment pas un problème car perso, mon chien tirait tellement avant que la traction était très forte alors que maintenant il tire très peu donc mon épaule s'en porte mieux !

Ich kann die Leine nur empfehlen! Ich habe diese Leine damals für meinen Hund (Labrador mischling) geholt während dem Leinenzwang da sie schön lang ist. Seitdem ist sie gar nicht mehr weg zu denken. Natürlich ist sie etwas größer und ein wenig schwerer, aber man benutzt sie schließlich auch nicht für einen Dackel ;-)Meine erste Leine hat 5 Jahre gehalten und war Mega glücklich das es sie hier noch zu einem günstigen Preis zu kaufen gab.Rollt immer sauber ein, harkt nicht, feststeller reagiert immer und schnell und sie ist stabil und robust. Paket war super schnell da. Alles top!

Un peu lourd à porter, mais costaud et très pratique car bien visible par les "autres".Le poids est lié à la longeur de la longe (10m), en même temps ce poids est porté par le chien si entièrement sorti, ce qui fait que en fin de balade mon chien (labrador de 7ans) ne tire pas sa longe.
