I love these Motion Sensor’s. They are absolutely great. I put them in my gym and connected my fans to them so that anytime I walk in the gym the fans just automatically turn on. However, there are some drawbacks like if you connect a device that has some kind of computer circuit to it. It won’t turn on the device, something like a smart fan or my electric heater in my fireplace that wouldn’t work. It does turn the device on; providing power to it but since these devices have a computer in them, they default back to their basic setting and you have to adjust it from there so they’re not going to just turn on and work.

I used this on a light fixture that already had motion detection that was way too sensitive. The light was going on when walking nearby from an adjacent room.This device solved my problem. I like the features of being able to adjust the position of the sensor, the distance sensitivity and duration of the light staying on after activation. Now the light only goes on when I walk into my laundry room but stays off when walking nearby in the adjacent kitchen.

I had it plugged in and it wouldn't trigger (or, untrigger rather) even 15' away. If it was in the same room it seemed to work but even a single wall stopped it from turning off which defeats the purpose. I tried all kinds of places and even 5' on the other side of a wall and it wouldn't work. No instructions on where to put the sensor either so hope you're ready for trial and error

It replaced a similar unit and performs very well.
