Outstanding product. To all those who say they don't rehydrate well, chanterelle are more difficult to rehydrate as compared to other mushrooms. What works for me is to soak in warm water for 30 mins or so, then cut them up (if your recipe allows) and put them back in the water for another 30 mins or longer. They are best used in soups, stews, braising and other high-liquid recipes where they will simmer for an extended period.

Super gritty. Mushrooms not cleaned after harvest. Rinsing helps but after drying the dirt and grit still remains.

These mushrooms were amazing after rehydrating them. I use the broth to make the soup after. Loved it will definitely buy again

I did get them after all. They were under the Thann charcoal.
