I am very impressed by this mixer! I’ve had a kenwood hand mixer for years, but thought I’d try a stand mixer this time. This machine is the best of both worlds. The whole thing is very light and quite compact, so doesn’t really take up much room at all! Good speed adjustment and parts are easy to clean.

Great quality item. Lovely stainless steel bowl, easy to get the mixer onto the stand and overall really happy with this item!

I had one of these in 1980 and it lasted me until 2020 when it finally stopped working. It was brilliant! Since then I’ve just used a small hand mixer but now need a light stand mixer as I have osteoarthritis in my hands. It’s a bit fiddly to get the beaters out and remove the bowl, and you have to get used to doing things in the right sequence. One downside I have found is that if you get any mixture in the grooved rim of the mixing bowl, it is really fiddly to get out - I had to use an old toothbrush! All in all though it is a sturdy lightweight stand mixer.

WOW! Kenwood have finally manage to design the worst food mixer yet! Being a chef for 35 years I Have owned Kenwood food mixers since buying a K Mix from John Lewis in the 90's I never looked back. I always buy in the same price bracket ,never spend more than 50/60£ use them till they burn out, or the paddles bend in on each other and knacker the motor. This one is the loudest, hardest to clean, most awkward, smallest most annoying food mixer i have ever owned. Built in obsolescence aside, Kenwood hand mixers in this price band are getting progressively worst. Back to school Kenwood.

Just amazing!

Fiddly to remove motor drive from stand which needs to be done before the tools can be removed. Worse still, the plastic drive rim which makes the bowl rotate broke after about a year. But, the compensating good news, a quick online chat with Amazon and returned for refund.
