The sachets used to contain the hibiscus flower, mint, and tea leaf pieces are triangle-shaped, but the string is conjoined to the tiny handle leaflet and two different parts of the sachet, with at least one of these parts used to hold onto the sachet, so be very careful. Typically, you just need to take the handle leaflet off of the sachet, to dunk in a cup of hot water, but another part of the string needs disconnecting from the outer sachet to hang it onto a pot of hot water, so make sure that you properly handle the string and sachet. Once the water is very hot, you can take the sachets and drop them into the water, dunking the sachets periodically, until the tea is as dark as possible, and the sachet contents are thoroughly used. I added about two-and-one-third sugars to each cup of the iced tea, the taste is rather mint, but with a raspberry-like background to compliment the light impression of botanicals. This taste is a great alternative to the tea you get at the usual coffee shops and worth the preparation. Thank you for reading!

Maybe I got a bad batch, but it smelled and tasted like a batch of chopped weeds - and not at all what I was hoping for.

I have used another brand of hibiscus mint tea for years. Unfortunately I can no longer procure it. This Blue Tea Hibiscus Mint tea has very little taste at all, even when I added extra tea bags to the brew.

These teabags are the mesh pyramid type, which allows the tea to release all it's flavors. One bag makes a light-tasting cup of tea with just a hint of mint, it's more flowery than minty. It makes a pretty dark cup of deep purple tea with hibiscus as the main flavor. Since the only ingredients in this tea are the hibiscus and mint, there's no caffeine in the blend. When iced, its light and refreshing, raw honey enhances the flavor.
