I have tried multiple brands of pancreatic enzymes and was even prescribed Creon for a while. The key difference between LypoGold and any of the competitors is that it contains high levels of lipase to help digest fats. This enzyme must be more expensive to produce or something as it's usually at much lower concentrations in other supplements. I take one of these prior to every meal together with some homemade kombucha and spoonful of sauerkraut and combined they greatly help with my digestion. I also recommend making your own Dr. William Davis prolonged fermentation yoghurt, it's a game changer.

I'm a chronic pancreatitis patient. I was skeptical about their claim of 1 pill processing 22G of fat given the amount of lipase in these, but their formula clearly does work better then my ZenPep (which costs $3000 a mo!). Unfortunately my insurance only covers the pig pancreas pills, which is what ZenPep and Creon are... ground up pig pancreas. Gross. I can take 1 or 2 of these with meals versus 4-5 of my 25000ui ZenPep's and I get better results. Only downside is i have to pay out of pocket. These should really be available via prescription. No plant based prescription enzymes exist unfortunately. As for pain relief, it doesn't help me much with that, but it does definitely aid in digestion. Keep in mind this is mostly just Lipase and has limited amounts of other enzymes, so you may need to supplement it with something else if you have trouble with non-fats.

This stuff is expensive, but these definitely work and it's a game changer. Without it, I am unable to digest fish oil and other health oils. For whatever reason my pancreas produces very limited enzymes, so this compensates for the lack. It makes a big difference in my overall health. I just take one of these before any meals that include oil or fat, and it works great. I'm hooked.

Who knew that digestive enzymes were the missing link to my lifelong weight loss problems? I sure didn't because if I did I would have taken them a long long time ago. Along with Digest Gold I take Lypo Gold and the weight is finally falling off. We all know that creating a calorie deficit through eating less and moving more is what works. And that is the only science based proof that we know works for weight loss but I could never stick to a diet because I was always hungry and craving things. Well I'm on a diet and exercise program and it's as easy for me as eating a piece of pie. Actually more easy than that! I am thrilled. My life has changed from this missing link. Finally my food is digesting and feeding my body. Now it's only a matter of time that I lose the rest of this weight. I'm 17 pounds down and counting. YAY!!

I have been using their Digest Gold for years and I was very happy! But I read somewhere, that most GI issues are a result of the liver and pancreas not producing enough specific enzymes! So I decided to try Lypogold , mainly for fat digesting enzymes. And so far it is paying off! Reduced my belching and burping and regular motions!
