Useful for odd sized chips for odd projects lol
I have used this kit to use it for both sides for different chip sizes.. I have successfully used it for both sides. If this is your thing, I would recommend this kit. :)

Serviceable quality, but mediocre packaging and labeling, missing a board
I may as well start with the box these PCBs arrive in. It's plastic with removable dividers, and the lid is taped shut to keep it from popping open in transit. That would all be fine, but the lid doesn't sit flat against the dividers, so if the box is turned upside down, many of the boards will easily drift between compartments. As a result, none of the PCBs were even remotely sorted by the time they got to me. I can live with that, but I'm not thrilled that one had a scar across some of the pads. Some PCBs were also wedged into the plastic and had I had to find something to slip under them to pry them out. Before I move onto quality, I should also note that one of the strips of header pins came snapped off, which isn't really a big problem, but it's a nuisance if you want to get nice alignment when you're soldering them on. I also did a count as I was sorting them back into compartments and found that this package was missing one of the SOP-89/SOT-223 boards. Board quality is passable, and you can certainly use these, but they're not wonderful. As another reviewer mentioned, there are spots missing solder mask. As you can see from an attached image, some of the solder pads are also looking pretty iffy too. Unlike that other reviewer, I haven't seen any pads lifting up yet, but I've only used a couple boards so far. I didn't get the focus as sharp as my lens could have captured, but trust me, the blurriness of the printing is not a focusing issue. Some boards have good, sharp printing, while others are kinda hard to read. With some magnification and common sense you can easily figure out what all the text says, but it feels like another small thing that could have been better. Overall, these are usable PCBs, but the quality and packaging leave something to be desired. I suppose the price is fairly competitive, but that's not the highest bar.

The boards are great, but...
The boards are great, but I'm over 50 and never soldered anything so tiny. I do not have a surface mount workstation. My advise, if you are older, with crappy eyesight, redesign your circuit if you can to avoid the headaches. Just so happen, the chip I needed only came in a surface mount package. I had to use these. With that said, the adapter boards theselves were fine.

Does what it says
Works well, just as I expected, for using those tiny surface-mount components in my breadboard circuits.
