Large Hatchback Bicycle Seat Bag Pack

I purchased this pack so I would store a tube, small tools, wallet and keys. Despite it saying "large" it was not large enough for what I needed. Twenty five years ago I purchased a "large" Lone Peak bag and I still own it. The zippers are still great on the old one. I wanted another one just like it but in black. Overall, great pack.

I have to admit I bought this primarily because it matched the color of my bike so well. But I have come to appreciate the quality of the materials and construction. A little pricey but seems worth it. Nice that it is made in the USA.

I bought this as a gift for my husband so this review is his point of view. So far, so good. He’s a man of many words lol.

This saddle mounted bike bag with shipping costs was about 3X the cost of the last bag I bought. But it is 3X the quality as well and certainly not the most expensive bag that I looked at. The bag has heavier fabric, an internal frame for structure, and heavy duty zippers. The strap design works to hold the bag snug against the underside of the seat and against the seat post. Note that there is a folded edge all around the inside of the access hatch (for reinforcement at the zipper). If you carry very small items (like a single hex wrench) they slide into the fold and are not easily removed without emptying the whole bag. A minor issue easily resolved by switching to a folding bike tool. A very high quality bag that fits perfectly on my bike.
