Great Converter BUT Make Sure You Understand What You Are Getting
Good quality HDMI to RCA converter feels solid and will last.I have to admit I made the same mistake thinking I would use this to connect my old consoles to my HDMI TV but this cable does not do that this will connect HDMI devices to old displays BUT lucky I have an old mini projector in the loft that I never threw out so this gave me the opportunity to see if it still works or if I should finally get rid of it.I am happy to say this cable works and works very well and luckily so does my mini projector I have connected my console and laptop to this and it works great BUT obviously you are restricted to the resolution of the old TV, monitor, projector you connect it to.Overall even tho it does not do originally what I thought it would I am happy with the HDMI to RCA converter.

Seemingly lower than average cables. I can't make them work for me.
Mixed review really, firstly I couldn't get this set up to work for me, I tried several different configurations but alas no joy. This may be due to the particular set I received but this of course did not help me.The cables included an adapter which aided in my attempts to get this set up so this may help others. The quality of the cables and the general feel of them including the plastic junction box part (which has a switch) all seem of a lower quality and lower budget type materials. The packaging, although obviously not a major important part of the operation of most (almost all) products was also of a lower quality being just a simple plastic sealed bag with makers and basic product details on it.Unfortunately (and as mentioned) I couldn't get this to work despite my various attempts so perhaps I was simply unlucky as this would have been a great product if considering the price if this one assisted me in my AV project. For the above reasons I feel it's fair to offer a 3 out of 5 star review as I fear I may have possibly received a faulty one.

Use newer HDMI devices on older TVs
This is a review of the HDMI to RCA adaptor. This adaptor allows you to connect one of the latest HDMI devices (e.g. Sky satellite box, Set-top box) to an older TV or projector which does not have an HDMI input. The company sells two types of cable adaptors, so it is important to understand this and buy the right one. You need to decide if you need an ‘input’ or ‘output’ device.I tried to connect my smartphone to an older TV. I had to use a USB-C to HDMI hub (the hub was an intermediatory device as my phone did not have HDMI).The picture came out fine on the TV. It was fuzzy, which this to be expected from RCA. I could not get any sound to come on. I believe I could probably get this to work with a bit more tinkering. There are some resolution issues to contend with. In portrait mode on my 4:3, it was narrow. When the phone was in landscape, it cropped the image on my 4:3 TV.It does need power via a USB.The bad point is there is no marking on the product this is an HDMI output to an RCA product. As someone can forget and think it is an ‘input’ product i.e. RCA to HDMI and think it is faulty. I have put a sticker on it to remind myself. There is a tiny PAL/NTSC switch, which is not easy to see. The instructions are tiny. I needed a magnifying glass to read.I hope my review has been helpful.

Check which cable you need.
Saw this for review and thought I'd solved getting my old camcorder to play on my smart TV. Must admit I didn't check the specifications properly at the time, and only realised my error when the cable arrived.I requested the HDMI to RCA cable. In other words a cable to connect your modern device such as a 2023 firestick to your old device like that 1990s space hogging TV you were so proud of. The total opposite of what I actually needed. If I had paid for this item then I would have sent it back and requested the RCA to HDMI cable instead. While grumbling to myself it cost £2 more. The midrange review is in theory the cable looks good and capable of doing the job. Unfortunately I can't test this fact.

HDMI to RCA converter.
So the description states this is a:-HDMI to RCA converter. HDMI to AV 3RCA CVBs composite video audio converter adapter supports PAL/NTSC for TV Stick, Roku, Apple TV, PC, Laptop, Xbox, HDTV ~ HDMI TO RCA.We have used this in the playroom that does not have a smart tv in, we were then able to use the roku box as easy as plugging it in.There is no fuss with having to download anything. What I have done tho is to label the cable, because I always got plugs and cables mixed up in the past. But now whenever I get anything electrical, a label goes on to remind me what's what and who's who's. It's a good job tho because this does come with no tag or anything. If you are a novice like me you may think it's not working because it works one way and not the other.*** This is from device to TV not TV to device.*** HDMI to RCA Converter:- * This converts HDMI video signal to normal CVBS signal. * Available for TV, VHS VCR, DVD recorders, etc.*** Easy to use:- * Plug and play without any drivers. * Plug in the USB power cable ~ included. to 5V power source during use ~ not included. (( Basically they give you the power cable and no 3 pin UK plug.))The price at the time of this review is £16.99 which is a lot cheaper than buying a new TV.So far so goodBut I will update this review if needed.*** Detail's:- * Connector type:- RCA, HDMI * Colour:- HDMI TO RCA * Brand:- baolongking * Number of ports:- 3 * Input ports:- HDMI (Not Support 3D and 4K) * Output ports:- RCA * Power port:- Micro USB * Input HDMI Standard:- from 480i to 1080P * Output RCA Standard:- NTSC/PAL two common formats * Compatible:- TV Stick, Roku, Blu-Ray, VHS, DVD, Xbox, Apple TV, PC, HD camera or other HD devices and more.
