I bought this for a workshop which was very long, over 12 hours sitting on the floor. Here are the positives: fold-able so I was able to put it in my suitcase. Easily portable: fold it up, grab it by the handle and go. Sturdy, I never felt that I was going to tip back or fall over even though sometimes I wished I could be flat on the ground. The negatives: not enough padding under your but. I am sure that would be fine for 1-2 hours as it is but if you are planning on spending more time on it I would recommend to bring extra padding.

I ordered this because I don’t have a desk area, so I converted my coffee table to my “desk”. I was trying different ways of getting comfortable sitting all day (pillow, rug, stool) but nothing was helping with comfort or back pain. I was looking for floor chairs and saw this and figured I’d try it. Not too expensive and had decent reviews. I’m so glad I got it. It gives me back support and cushion to stay comfy throughout the work day. It also folds up, so it’s easily storable and there is a built in handle on top to carry it. Would recommend for people who don’t have a lot of space.

Before I give you my reasons for this score, let me tell you that I ordered this product for only one purpose, meditation. The product arrived on time. There is no setup, just unfold it. It is comfortable to sit in with legs extended. For my use I am comparing this product to a backjack. This product is much more convenient to store. However, when I meditate in the cross legged position, the metal frame becomes painful to my ankle. The backjact frame is behind you so no frame under cushion. The back of this chair has a lot more padding which makes it more comfortable to lean against, however in long meditations it feels hot against the back and distracting. My other concern is the covering material, I don't know how to describe it, its just yucky. Don't know why choice of this material. The product is well made and for other uses besided meditation, I would recommend it, but not meditation. Old back jacks still work better for me.

I saw something like this at a friends house and I instantly searched for a chair like this on Amazon. I like the portable soft product where I can store this chair away when not needed. It fits under our couch. This chair folds into a floor chair where sometimes couch sitting can be too much. Or maybe you have a couple extra guests over then this chair can help out too. I'm different where I prefer sitting on the floor, it adds a coziness when enjoying your favorite show or just being casual.

I bought this product only for meditation purpose, as i had sever back pain problem i was not able to sit on the hard floor and without any support for my back. so i was looking for a product which can solve my problem and thanks to bonvivo for designing this product. now i am able to do my meditation for a long time with less amount of stress on my back.Areas for improvements:1. The base could be still much more stretched in the front side of the chair , when i sit in criss cross position, i am not able to place my legs completely inside on the cushion to maintain a balanced position2.The back portion or the spine portion of this chair must be still more erect and should not move any further even if i lean on the chair, now as i lean on the chair it slightly goes backward and my meditation posture is disturbed

I'm commenting on the "bonVIVO Easy III Padded Portable Floor Chair". I had read reviews for earlier versions of this chair, complaining that it didn't fold completely, or have a carrying handle, or have multiple positions. But a friend recommended this based on his previous order so I gave it a go.I'm impressed. The chair is solidly constructed, easily folds flat, has a solid handle for carrying and is comfortable to sit on. It has two positions: open and closed. That's it.I'll be buying more of these for my meditation students. Well-done bonVivo.
