Dunlop 47PXLN Nylon Jazz III XL, Red (Pack of 6)

This ticks all the boxes. It's easy to hold with its slightly smaller than usual form factor but it's not so small that it becomes fiddly. The raised lettering offers great grip without being too grippy. You can still shift it's position but it's not gonna slip out of your grip or move around in general. The sharp tip is perfect for picking accuracy and allow for higher speed in your picking with having less material to pass over the string yet the tip is very durable. In fact I find these much more durable than ULTEX or Tortex outlasting those materials 2 to 3 times over. The nylon material gives a full well rounded tone which is neither too tinny nor too muddy. It's got a nice fat bottom end EQ, a roaring full bodied mid and clear controlled treble the result in this plectrum working well with any pickup on any guitar. The nylon also offers an excellent buttery smoothness as it glides over the strings with absolutely no drag or scratchiness. I highly recommend these for absolutely any guitar player.

After half a lifetime of trying to find the perfect pick, I think I've finally come as close as I can. I bought a six pack so that I'd always have at least one to hand.

I've been a devout user of the regular Jazz III red nylon picks for well over a decade now. Probably my way of wanting to be the spawn of Eric Johnson and Joe Bonamassa! But over the last year or so I've been moving away from small picks and have been wanting something a bit bigger. After going back to regular shaped and sized tortex, nylon and celluloid picks I just found they lacked that famous Jazz III 'accuracy'. So naturally I went to these. One word, perfect. Slightly bigger than the regular Jazz III, which also results in them having a bit more bend and give (which I love). They have more of a 'matte' finish than regular Jazz III's, making them so much easier to grip. Because they're made from nylon they last ages too, I can burn through a regular tortex or celluloid pick in just a few play sessions. + larger size means more to grab hold of + more of a 'matte' finish means better grip + slightly more 'give' than the regular size + cheap when compared to the more 'boutique' pick brands nowadays

On the thicker side but they feel nice to play with. So far they have lasted well. I was originally recommended to get these by a family member studying at a music college. Would buy again.

I talked with other guitarists and a couple of them said they wouldn't play with anything else so I wanted to try them for myself. These picks give a nice bright sound. They are smaller than what would I suppose be called a normal pick but that makes them more nimble. I don't use these exclusively, I have a variety of differing picks but these do get regular use. Delivery was good, quality of product is good.

Better than the standard ones for me. A good thick pick & the right point for lead playing. Probably too thick for rhythm guitar players. Easy to grip & the best I have used.

Since I started playing guitar almost 7 years ago, this has always been my number 1 guitar pick. It sits between your thumb and finger comfortably, it isn't too big like some of them really thin picks, it's at a good thickness to glide between each of the guitar strings with ease. I lost all of my guitar picks so have been trying to scavenge whatever one of these I can find, but it's nice to finally have a new set! Definitely recommend for other guitarists, everyone has their own personal favourite type of guitar pick, but this type just feels so right! P&P - Came in a nice small envelope, packed in it's original packaging and delivered within 3 days of the order, super good service!

I love the regular jazz III, however this feels even better in my hand due to its larger size (larger than regular jazz III, same size as a standard pick) Hopefully no more damage to my nail 😁

Le format xl du jazz 3. Si vous connaissez le produit,ces jazz 3 n'ont pas une finition exemplaire, mais ils sonnent bien. Le format xl n'est pas gênant pour la fluidité de jeu. Du coup je vais essayer les tortex jazz xl.

私にとっては、しなり具合、大きさ、ニュアンス、これ以外ないっすね。サイズが少し小さいアルアルで私の場合やっぱり爪は削れます（笑）でも文字部分が少し凹凸があるので滑りにくいし、弦に挟んだときもギターケースの中で落ちにくいッス。でも逆に手に取る時取りにくい（笑）どっちを取るか？まーチッチェー事は気にすんなって感じっす。

Plettri ben rifiniti buon materiale e ottima presa grazie alle scritte in rilievo. Sono piuttosto rigidi e garantiscono un buon controllo nel picking veloce. Ero incerto sulle dimensioni visto che erano definitivi come XL, ma in realtà sono di dimensioni normali (nella seconda foto è vicino ad un Fender Heavy).

72 Plektren (Jim Dunlop sind die einzigen aus echtem Celluloid) für knapp 19 Euro, das ist echt unschlagbar!
