Not all window vacs (WV) are the same, and I don’t mean brands. This is my 2nd as the first one (different maker) broke within 3 months. I need a WV to remove water from tiling and shower screen in my bathroom and condensation form the large single-glazed sash windows in my rented flat, so I need it to cope with multi directions to get in corners. Cheaper WVs may have bigger tanks but can only be used up/down and can leak if used any other way. This device is smaller but a totally different tank design. You will need to empty more regularly, so not suitable if you are looking for one to tackle a conservatory. Some great design features unique to this model: usb-C type charging port so I use with my existing chargers, plus a bonus extra cable and battery is removable so you don’t have the whole device cluttering the worktop, The battery also has a torch light and can be used as a power pack (but only a small storage). So far really pleased.
