I have a cast iron double sink that has a porcelain finish and the divider between the two sinks is one of the widest I’ve seen at roughly 4 inches. I’ve searched on and off for quite a few years to replace the sink saddle I had forever that somehow disappeared. It’s been impossible to find any that are not so preformed to an exact fit in order for one to spread wide enough to go over my center divider and then have the sides lay flat. I thought I was forever destined to use a cut piece of gorilla grip slip resistant shelf liner to keep my sink safe from getting marred up while washing pots and pans but I found just what I was needing! Wonderful product, it seems to be working out great for me. When I received this sink saddle I was a bit skeptical, especially when I noticed that it had no suction cups to hold it in place. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed that once I tried it out, it not only fit well over the center but the sides were longer than I would normally expect but a benefit as they’re heavy enough that they lay flat against my sink. I’m finding that I don’t have any need for suction cups because it’s heavy enough to hold it in place. It’s heavy and a nice dark shade of grey which doesn’t clash with other colors. I would suggest giving this one a try if you’ve been searching like I have.

The material used for this sink protector seems very durable and does the job it was intended to do. However, the big but, the dimensions of the items are not great. Perhaps that is because sinks can have different bowl dimensions, if so then this product should be offered in different sizes. I'd like to see the front to back size increased to cover more of the sink to protect against large pots and cooking trays. Also the sides that fold down into each sink bowl are way too long. The material does not conform to the sink, it has some memory, so when the edges hit to bottom of the sink basin the protector material tend to bulge out. I had to cut the side back about two inches to make it sit flush. Overall it does the job at the same time could be designed better.

don't buy this. super thin, was all wrinkled and did not sit correctly on the side of the sink. no suction cups on the side like others to make it stay in place. I returned this.

I really like it. The sides need to be cut depending on the depth of your sink.

For some reason no one is making these so they cover the entire divider between 2 sinks, so I have to use 2 of these to cover that part of my sink. These are better than most - they're easy to clean, provide some traction, but they eventually slip off the divider. On the plus side, the material is soft enough you can cut them to fit - if your sink is shallow, you can decrease how much drapes across the bottom of your sink. They are arguably too flexible; they lay very nicely flat and remain that way no matter what you do to them, but if you drag anything across them they WILL move around on you. I do not want a sink mat with suction cups because those become much more difficult to keep clean. I do not want them with holes in them either. In this regard, these fit the bill nicely. My search continues (and may never conclude), but for now these will do.

Great addition to my sink. I use the middle section of the sink that this goes on to support the pots and pans when I clean them and this keeps the pots from scratching the sink. I had to cut my matt down a little bit to fit right, but it cleans up great and now the sink is protected.

This was too long for even my deep sink, and to narrow to cover the divider width, so it slides around constantly. The thickness and quality are good but too flexible to stay put.
