Have only used it twice to hold bully sticks, but it worked amazing! My standard poodle is a strong chewer and it held them tight! Even when it got down to a nub on each side, it held them strong! Very well made and seems like it will hold up for a very long time.

I decided to wait to write a review after some use. I bought one of each size and the grip with the screw to use with my Old English Sheepdog puppy. These photos are after 3 months of regular use, and by regular use, I mean my puppy uses these not just as safety grips for chews, but as toys. The grip still holds as well as day one, and it takes his chewing well. He loves to chase these outside and the texture is one of his faves for chewing. I also freeze these (mostly the red one) as an alternative to his kong or other similar toys. Now, onto the grips primary function as a safety grip: my boy loves bull pizzle. I love that I can let him have his fave chew and I can worry less. He loves that he gets a toy and treat all in one, and the grip gives him something to hold while he chews. I use the small and medium the most, and purchase the thick pizzle from Downtown Pet Supplies through Amazon and also the Chewy brand (jumbo) from chewy. Just wet the grip, twist in the treat, let it dry, and it’s secure. To remove, reverse the process. These grips do not replace watching your dog. Of course it is entirely possible for the chew to come out of the grip, but in my 3 months of use, that has been rare. Just follow the size guidelines provided by the company. I will definitely buy more when the time comes to retire these!

This is our first bully holder for our teething puppy. It is easy to use, but deducted a star due to its heaviness. Our pup has had to adjust to using it, but overall happy with its safety and functionality.Update: after 5 months of use, this holder is still holding up and is a God send for peace of mind! Thankful for this product to keep my chewing boy safe.

Exactly as the title says, no more worries for this dog mom! My boy loves his bully sticks but I've always been so worried that he'd choke on them even though at the time they were thin. My worries only grew when I started noticing how fast Rippy was going through the thin 12" bully sticks I was giving him. When discussing this with his vet, I was told that if I wanted him to stay occupied longer I need to go with a different size for my boy since he goes through the thinner ones in a matter of 10 mins. This is when I got educated by my vet about bully stick sizes. Needless to say my boy Rippy ranges in the thick to jumbo size based on how aggressive he is with his chewing hence how he gets through the thin ones in a matter of 10 or less mins. Unfortunately many of these sizes aren't completely straight and vary immensely in its start to finish thickness. Therefore making it very easy for a dog to choke on and only intensifying my worry. I expressed this concern to my vet and she recommended a product to me but when I read the reviews I decided to do more research which lead me to this product instead. Boy am I happy I went with this over the other one! Now about this product.This product can hold a 12" jumbo size thickness bully stick which is the max length size and thickness a bully sticks comes in. My boy is smart and literally finds ways to get what he wants so if what he wants is to pull the bully stick out of the hole that's holding it he will try and try til his heart is content or until he achieved his mission. Never has he achieved this mission in the time frame of having this product which is almost a year or more now. That said the way this product is made definitely makes me feel more relieved, less stressed, and lessens my anxiety level. I will not give Rippy a bullystick without this product. Every time I go to get this product, Rippy is overly ecstatic in excitement and does a happy dance. It's so cute to see and watch. I do still watch Rippy while he is using this product for his bully sticks just in case he does finally achieve being able to pull the bully out. It's always recommended to keep an eye on your pup whenever it's chewing on anything. That also being said this product additonally holds up well to those pups who are like my boy Rippy and are excessive slobberers whenever they chew on anything. Even with all that slober acting like a lube all over the bully, he's still unsuccessful at being able to pull the bully out of the holder! Due to this, how easy it is for Rippy to hold, and how easy it is to use, I give this product a 5 out of 5 stars rating. Hope this review helps future buyers because it's definitely worth the price! I'd totally recommend this product to all dog owners who give their puppers bully sticks.

One of my dogs figured out immediately how to inch the end of the bully stick out of this no matter how tightly I plugged it (tried 3 different times with differently sized sticks). It works great for my other dog, so it probably just depends. Here to say that it's not a perfect solution, no matter how many "best of" lists this lands on. I'm disappointed!

I finally have peace of mind giving my dog a bully stick without the worry of choking on the end piece. These work for any chew stick- the screw on the side holds it firmly in place. My dogs love them

So be sure to measure your intended treats before you decide whether this product is for you.It will work for smaller stuff but our 90lb Boxador makes those disappear in just a couple of minutes.

This is a great concept. Unfortunately it literally came apart within 15 minutes of use. I purchased two of these for my Anatolian Shepherds. The rubber started cracking soon after giving it to them. Fortunately I was watching them and caught it. When I tried to remove the bully stick, the orange screw head broke off inside it. I really wanted this to work but it is very disappointing. Not for large dogs. The 2 I purchased seem dry rotted. Have never had a hard dog toy come apart like this.
