The box says "place some under your tongue if you are brave" now then, my mother didn't raise a whimp and when a box sets a challenge, I can't refuse! So under the tongue some was placed- with instant regret! My taste buds screamed "why are we eating frehly-laid tar mac?!" Whereas my brain decided to send every emotion possible to my face, all at once! Brilliant stuff. Highly recommend. The reason I highly recommend is because, once I got through the taste of what can only be described as a combination between licking a mucky rock and the smell of tar mac, my energy surged! I felt like I was firing on all cylinders- concentration levels went up, a nice sense of well-being overcome me, and all day I didn't yawn! And I'm a professional yawner. Bearing in mind that you only use the tiniest amount- it just goes to show that it's not size that matters! Try some, but perhaps don't go with the challenge of putting some directly in your mouth! Stir some in your morning coffee for an all day energy boost!

Love the product, the huge margin in costs compared to others is extortionate. In fairness, this is my first choice and attempt to try. Taste is earthy and I love it with warm coconut milk, no sweetener required.My other negative reason is that, boy oh boy, is it hard to open the jar⁉️🤔🤔 Oh yes it is, and I have a strong hand and grip. Don’t want to blame this on the company, the product appears to be invisibly sticking the lid to the container. Weird. All in all, I will buy it again until I find a better price, quality to match it and recommend to others.✌️💛

Great product, I bought this to compare against another brand of Shilajit I have which I know is good. This is exactly the same in every way, smell, taste and texture identical. I definitely have more energy and feel more alert. The only worry I have is that I’ve read don’t take shilajit if you’ve suffered with gout as it increases the uric acid in your body. Not sure how true this is though and be good if someone can advise.

Can anyone show me the size on a spoon please as I'm lost and think I'm using to much I take it twice a day as it says can use 1-2 times a day but how much on spoon twice a day should I be using can someone show me an example of a small pea please preferably nature provides

So I’ve been taking Shilajit in a tablet form from another brand. I’m not sure it’s had any benefit at all.I’ve chosen Mountain Blood because of its reviews.Firstly delivery was expected between 12-1pm but it came super early- just before 9am, which was great.The product is packaged in a neat little box, the jar was super hard to open so I hit the lid a few times with the back of a spoon to loosen it (an old trick my mum taught me). I got it open and it looks like a thick black treacle. The smell- well I’m fussy with any weird smell anyway but this to me smelt like I’d just stepped onto a farm where they’ve just spread fresh horse manure 🤣 I just won’t give it a deep in hale next time I open it.I used the little spoon to scrape the inside of the top of the lid where the Shilajit had gone onto it and pushed it back into the jar. I then used I small amount and added it to my coffee. I was a bit dubious of this as in the past when I’ve added to my coffee it’s split the milk. Alas the milk did not split!! I take a little sugar in my coffee too and couldn’t taste the Shilajit, I suppose if I added more then I could possibly taste it.Anyway, hopes are high that this will be beneficial as I am lacking so much energy lately.I am an impatient person and want to see it working yesterday 🤣 but I’ll hold my horses and wait it out.

This is my (not so) secret as to how I have so much more energy than my friends and colleagues. This product is so well produced and ingredients sourced are excellent. This will re-charge your batteries and energy levels and for I think it boosts my immune system as well

Around 7 years ago, I had the experience of using genuine Shilajit, which worked from the very first dose, just a pea-sized amount under the tongue, and it was the real deal. This resin seems to work but is diluted at least 20 times with something that increases its volume. The price is higher at £40 than what’s sold locally, but it appears to be one of the few working resins, even though the quality is too diluted.
