excellent product. they look high dollar, wear tough, easy to clean & cover up those ugly old things that you'd rather toss in the trash. this is my 3rd & if I should fall victim to another homeless dog I'll order another.

We now have two covers for the dog bed and can trade them out when one gets dirty--YAY!I really like the option of the foresty green color. The material is heavy denim (dyed green in our case), which will wear well. We've had the original denim cover for the bed for several years; there are only a few worn spots, so I expect this cover to wear equally well.

I have a 9 month old Great Pyrenees who chews everything including his beds. I purchased a new dog bed for him and 5 minutes later, he had a hole in it and was pulling out the stuffing. I purchased this Heavy Duty Canvas Duvet Pet Dog Bed Cover to see if it would keep him from further destruction of the bed. WOW, YES...he now lays on the bed like a good boy and has not been able to chew through the canvas cover. I would highly recommend this product.

Material wasn't as heavy as I would have liked. It does the job I needed though. My outdoor patio cushion covers were falling apart, the cushion part inside is still good. I tried finding new covers to no avail. Even to the source of manufacturing brand. They sell new cushions but not covers. I looked everywhere for the size cover. Saw these dog bed covers and they were close enough, and price was affordable enough for the 6 cushions I have. The green color faded fast, so I think the material won't hold up in sunlight very long term. In photo its the bottom cushions. The back cushion covers are original to the patio set. My dogs jump up on them and lie there, turn around and all that sort of doggy motion. The covers look fine, wash great, so I think for regular dog beds, these would work great. I am not sure how tough it is if a dog chews on it, since my dogs don't chew dog beds. It does not seem that tough to me though if a dog is a fabric chewer.

This is a super solid mattress cover that saved me $50 or more over a giant breed dog bed. I got a twin size mattress foam topper to go in it in the 55”x37” size. It’s kept our Newfie happy for over a year. Buying another one now so I can put the older one in the garage. She peed on it a couple times as a puppy and it washed up well in the washer. It fits our giant cage perfectly. The zipper and fabric are heavy duty. And the stupid review that said it’s cheap is simply wrong. This is a solid product worth every bit of the price. I just paid around $30 for the extra large size. Serious chewers will always ruin a mattress, I’ve had dogs like that before. But this is a good cover that will last a long time from normal dog wear and tear.

Our six Czech/Malinois Shepherds are always trying to lay claim to the dog bed with this cover over the slick nylon type of cover that is on the other dog beds . As soon as one gets up they are quickly replaced by another. Also the zipper is of good quality and it vacuums up nicely in between washings . All in all as our nylon covers get destroyed we will be replacing them with these covers, I think that pretty much says it all .

Dog flopped on it as soon as we put it together. My boy is getting older now and so rather than regular foam sheets or styrofoam pellets, I bought a twin size memory foam bed topper, folded it in half and use that as the core of his bed. I wrap an old blanket around that and insert them inside this new cover. It looks, works & fits great. Washes up easy, too. Couldn't beat the price - HALF the cost of a lot of "name" brand covers. My dog isn't a chewer, so I cannot comment on how resistant it is to dogs who do. The cover seems very sturdy. I've washed it several times now that we've had it a few months and the heavy canvas is holding up very well. It has faded somewhat but no sign of getting worn out, fraying, loosening or ripped threads, etc. Well worth the money for our big guy. 5 STARSEDIT: More than 2 years later... and this cover is still holding up like a champ. This has proven to be a VERY well-spent $30!
