Still working perfectly after 1 year of use

The lid hinge (a traditional weak point on glass electric kettles) appears good, providing a proper seal that can build up a sufficient head of steam which cuts off the kettle when it boils (it is not just a thermostat). However, there is a layer of condensation bubbles coating the inside at all times (which looks like broken safety glass from afar). So far it does the job, and is worth the price I paid.

It has suddenly stopped working after 2 and half months. No reason at all, it just didn't turn on.

First time I used it the switch went off just before it started to boil. I was ready to return it. But tried it again. However now I noticed it won’t shut off once it’s starts to boil. I have to babysit it and turn it off manually. Should have gone ahead and returned it.

I've been very happy with this electric kettle. It heats water quickly and makes it easy to prepare tea, coffee or hot water without waiting long. The stainless steel design looks nice on the counter and fees sturdy. The handle stays confortable to hold so far I haven't had any issues with performance or quality it does exactly what it's supposed to do and feels like a great value for the price.
