I had my doubts about this tiny device. After taking a shower and my toe nails were softened somewhat, I gave it a shot. It was a little difficult to get all three points of contact in place and to hold, but eventually I got it. My nail had been making a curled downturn into the skin of my big toe and this helped flatten the nail and pulled the edge above skin. I used a hair dryer at the lowest setting to dry the nail while the device was still attached. After removing it, the nail stayed. The pain is now completely gone. I'll probably use it regularly until the nail grows out completely to where I can clip it.I had very low expectations, but am happy to say it worked, and I didn't have to pay an arm and a leg. Even if it breaks, I would buy another because it worked so well for me. I've seen really serious illustrations of ingrown toe nails and I can't say with confidence that it would work in those cases.

This is crap ... don't waste your money ... it's designed with magnet and just has no stability.

You need three hands to handle it.I added copper wires that hold the base closer together, so I can install it with two hands.It was still difficult but it worked for several days, until I got an infection and discontinue the use.However it partially did pull out the nails from under the flesh-skin, enough to let the toenails grow out.Will wait and see within a month!!

This works great if you know how to use them. Thankfully I read the directions before purchasing them, because I didn't get any instructions with my tool.

This provides a brief relief and does the job well. I imagine to fix the ingrown you’ll have to really use this multiple times a day over several weeks. Are used it for temporary relief and it did the job well. I eventually just got mine done toenails removed but I don’t trus are used it for temporary relief and it did the job well. I eventually just got my brown toenails removed by a podiatrist.

Did absolutely nothing and did not stay on. I threw it out

While it looks like a torture device, it has helped with the pain and the effect lasts for days. It does take some patience to hook onto the sides of the nail while holding on to the nut, but it stays on, even with walking. Thank you!

Wasn't what I wanted or needed, dissatisfaction was due to my needs, not product.
