Nice Unit that retains a modern finish
Excellent Dimmer, which was easy to wire in to replace existing two way switch. It is solid, easy to adjust, and the push button switch is positive.Note uses a slight unconventional terminal allocation (the L1 and L2 terminal are equivalent to L2 and L3, and the In is equivalent to L1).This unit also requires slightly less depth within backplate than many of the alternatives, but won't fit inside a switch shallow box.Works with Dimmable LEDs only - non dimmable LEDs can't be used without flicker. So a great option if looking for a modern dimmer that will operate as 1/2 of a two way switch system.

Works well to dim a set of ten GU10 LEDs from very low to full
Looks nice without having screws on the front. You will see the edge of the plastic/metal that is behind the plate when looking from the side.Only minus is the plastic box that houses dimmer electronics (in purple), which is the full length of the back plate. I used it in an old metal housing with 4 screw positions and had to remove two screw positions to get enough space. Also, do not tighten the nut too much that holds the dimmer switch to the plate as then the button will no longer pop back out.I am using it with "Amazon Basics Professional LED GU10 Spotlight Bulb, 35W equivalent, Warm White, Dimmable - Pack of 6" 929001870424. By setting the minimum dimmer setting lower I can dim the these 3.2W LED lights very low.

Good quality product.
Used this to replace an ordinary 3-gang switch. It is easy to fit and works well. Only slight problem is that the terminal holes are quite small relative to those on an ordinary switch, so fitting multiple wires into one terminal can be tricky.

Look better on the advert than when installed
I decided I wanted some screwless light switches and power sockets to replace the cheap ones in our house. The house is less than 10 years old so I would call it a new build/conversion. There is no old wiring and we have what I would consider nice flat white walls. I did a lot of hunting and research for switches that I thought looked the best without paying £20 or more a switch.I thought I’d hit the jackpot when I found these Knightsbridge ones as I wanted matt white screwless.Unfortunately, as Forest has described; the transparent backplate makes it look like the switch is not installed correctly and looks like it is floating off the wall.Undeterred, I thought maybe I could paint the edge of the backplate white to match the wall, unfortunately that led to me discovering another issue. If I screw the backplate enough to make it flush with the wall then the front plate does not fit snug against the backplate leaving a small gap half the way around the switch.I guess I could loosen the backplate a little so there is no small gap between the front and back plates, but then there will be a gap against the wall instead which I guess I could fill using filler and then paint. A lot of a faff when I was considering doing 25 light switches and the same again in power outlets! It’s crazy that the back-plate is not the same colour as the front-plate.It was also a pain to install the wiring due to terminals that could be larger to accomodate more wires. I needed to get 4 earth cables in this first one I installed - not easy.On balance, I think my hunt for nice light switches continues.

Really Nice
This plug socket looked lovely, really has a nice white matt finish. The only reason I have given it 4stars, is it had to be sent back, as it seemed to have been used.
