So I would melt my wax the traditional way where you would boil some water and put in inside a container that would melt them wax and I always struggled with maintaining the right temperature and just keeping it clean. The first time I used this melter, I was just blown away how much easier it is to make candles, and it actually makes it enjoyable for once. The temperature adjustment once you set it will maintain the same temperature forever, however, don’t trust the gauge that it says on there use an actual thermometer I do believe it’s a few degrees off. But this product is super amazing, I packed it with 10 pounds of wax and it’s ready to use anytime you need it at the perfect temperature. It comes with a stand where you can prop it up higher if you need to pour into a smaller container underneath. It does have a little bit of assembly required, but it is very simple. If you follow the instructions I would save this product is a game changer if you plan on making candles with as a hobby and recreational use or even if you have a business. BUY THIS NOW!

I loved how fast this guy made things after a bit of a learning curve. I used this for gel wax, which good luck finding a melter that even mentions gel wax. As people who use gel wax know, you can’t overheat your wax or it goes cloudy upon cooling. It took me quite awhile to dial in the heat. It would go from to hot to too cool with just miner adjustments. I will admit though I had just taken my THC medication. So, once I did dial it in, it went super fast. Also when using wax and heating it, just be aware that you have to set it at a lower temperature then what you really need. Wax continues to get hotter and hotter the longer it’s in the heater. Also make sure you break you gel wax up. Otherwise the bottom gets way to hot before the top is melted. This worked great at filling my pitcher to pour the candles. I did have to put a large rag under the fill spout as it would continue to run for a sec after you shut the valve. Overall I would recommend this melter. It was on the lower end of the price scale so I’m pleasantly surprised that I do like it as much as I do. If you are pouring more than a couple candles, get it, it’s just so much easier and faster.

Da ich hochwertige Kerzen gieße, war ich auf der Suche nach einem Schmelztopf, der mir den Produktionsprozess eindeutig erleichtern könnte und es mir ermöglicht, das Ganze aus der Küche in ein anderes Zimmer zu verlagern. Die Wahl fiel, nach längerem Recherchieren, auf dieses Produkt. Nach nicht mal zwei Wochen wurde der Topf, ohne zusätzliche Zollabgaben, von Amazon UK geliefert. Im Vorfeld hatte ich gelesen, dass ein Adapter nötig wäre. Leider gab es kein Produktfoto, auf dem der Stecker zu sehen ist und ich bestellte prompt den falschen. Der Topf hat einen Stecker mit zwei Metallteilen, keine 3. Mit der 1 Tageslieferung war ich aber dann mit dem neuen Stecker schnell bereit zum ersten Probegießen. Zunächst mussten noch die Füße angeschraubt werden (die beiden kürzeren nach vorne zum Ausguß, ist ja logisch) und die Haltegriffe. Passt jede Menge Wachs rein und da Sojawachs bereits bei gut 50 Grad schmilzt, ging auch eine größere Menge schön schnell. Das Ausgießen muss man etwas üben, man hat es aber schnell raus, wie der Hahn reagiert. Ich bin begeistert und möchte ihn schon nach dem ersten Gebrauch nicht mehr missen. *****Leider war dann der zweite Gebrauch nicht mehr möglich. Defekt. Mühsam kratzte ich das Wachs aus dem Topf und musste ihn in die USA senden. Zum Glück, dank Amazon Service, kostenlos!. Dennoch ärgerlich!Grüße aus dem Saarland, Iris

The spout is on the bottom!!! The best part about this pot is that it has taller back legs and shorter front legs but in addition the spigot where the wax comes out, is attached to the bottom corner of the pot as opposed to almost every other wax melter or the spigot/spout is about a half inch or a quarter inch above the bottom of the pot and you have to lean the pot to get the bottom of the wax out. The elevated back legs as well as the spout being and the perfect location on this pot is the absolute best selling Factor!It heats very very nicely the whole pot heats up I would say be careful around young ones or pets as the whole pot does heat up very hot, in addition I would say when you are pouring make sure there is a catch underneath of it in case it pours faster than you expect it to, this little pot has survived so many travesties with candle making with me and still is functioning at peak condition! It's pretty easy to clean up as well and the rounded edges on the inside of the pot make it really nice to just kind of scoop out left over wax after I melt it just enough to get it slidy and it comes out in one big chunk as opposed to having to pry it out or chop it out with square edges on other pots.This should be the only pot a candlemaker should ever go with for convenience, ease of use, durability, long-lasting, even heating, and so much more!It also holds a very large amount of Wax, this part is a nice round one that is short and stout and takes it very little room but holds a lot as opposed to other competitors who look more like tall fancy ones this one is definitely the go-to and holds more capacity than the other "mkre popular" ones.I will definitely be buying more as I am growing my candle making shop, I aim to have one for every primary color of the rainbow!
