It fills in tiny imperfections, smooths out the surface, and gives you a flawless base for primer and paint. Lower grits will just dig into it and make more work for you.Even though this fills everything you can see with your own eyes, there are always tiny imperfections you can’t see. For most people, a standard primer will be fine, but if you want the most professional-looking finish possible at home, look into a filler primer. It’ll help level out any microscopic flaws and give you an even better surface before paint. I got annoyed with how little info was available for what products would be best, so I did hour upon hours of research (since all the things online and suggestions were just clearly sponsored lol). Again I put that under my profile and reviewed it!For never having done this before, I think my results turned out really decent. The extra effort on prep made a huge difference in the final finish.IMPORTANT: Wear a RespiratorLike all body fillers, this releases a high amount of VOC fumes, way more than spray paint and for much longer. Good finish , but dries really fast, mix and fill or u will regret it

Works well enough. Would have had a better experience if I wasn't shipped a busted tube. Went to use it and the entire back end of the tube exploded all over. Still got it to work, but it was a pain in the ass. Also I can not stress enough USE THIS STUFF OUTSIDE!!! THE VAPORS ARE INCREDIBLY TOXIC AND FLAMMABLE! Definitely be in a well ventilated environment before use. Overall if u can get this stuff to work it drys pretty fast, u can use it for a number of things including 3d prints, and light patchwork.

Two stage glazing putty is pretty amazing.

Had a couple of small spots on my car where a hole was drilled by mistake. Mixed, filled lightly sanded the area (very small area). Maybe 1/8 of an inch. Touched up with paint, lightly sanded and applied clear coat .Can't even see the hole.

Product is great not the first time I use it. However, this is the first time I purchased it through this vendor on Amazon. The package came closed, but the product was leaking inside the box. I came back to Amazon to return it or get a replacement and found out I cannot. Very disappointing.

It works when you learn how to use it, but following the instructions cost me a burst tube. It says to knead both tubes, but the big tube is made of aluminum and when you knead it, the tube breaks down and bursts open. Also, the product dries way faster than the instructions say with the amount of hardener called for.But the product is amazing when you learn and adapt, and all goes well. It creates a nice hard smooth finish after sanding.
