This brace prevents my foot from dropping downward when I walk.
I really, really like this brace, so far. I've only had it a couple of days. I have a severe case of drop-foot (right-foot). I have an old-school brace that is made of plastic and molded to my foot and calf. It reaches up to the top of my calf. Very tiresome to wear all day and a bit embarrassing when wearing shorts in the summer. This brace is smaller. The top is at the bottom of my calf. It works great in supporting my foot at a near 90-degree angle, and is much less NOTICEABLE when wearing shorts. There is a bit of a gap at the top of the brace between it and the front of my shin. I feel it would work even better if it could fit tighter against the front of the leg. "_I think_" I could force the brace to fit tighter there, but the instructions state to "not over tighten it". I'm afraid of breaking it. Even with that small bit of space, the brace works great. I wore it to the gym today and walked a couple miles on a treadmill plus all my regular walking around. I will purchase another if this one wears out. JohnC

It's junk.
It's small made for a child far from an XL . Couldn't even get my toes in it. Waste of time and money had to pay for return shipping. Not impressed !!!! Not worth any good rating.

Buy the right size for your foot. It does help my drop foot.
I've been wearing this brace for several months now and it does help my drop foot. It is comfortable at the right size for your foot. The quality seems to be holding out so far, but an earlier, similar brace I wore broke at the fasteners fairly quickly after about a week. The wearer has to be careful coming down stairs that the edge of the fastener doesn't break on the front of a stair or edge of a ballister.

Great brace for drop foot with and without shoes.
I love this brace. I dislocated my knee which caused nerve damage and drop foot. This brace is the only brace I've tried that I can wear all day. Other braces either only worked while wearing shoes or were just uncomfortable. I ordered the largest size (pre-surgery I was a 10.5 wide shoe size) and it was still a little tight, so I actually took off the inflatable cushion. It now fits great and functions perfectly. I love the fact that I can wear this with sneakers, sandals, or without any shoes. It does not fit well into shoes that are stiff or tight on the sides. But I have a wide foot and that's to be expected. I've been wearing this everyday/all day for over a month, and I've had no durability problems so far. Love it.

Works well for me!
I was really surprised this was as good as it was for the price. I tried one sold on Amazon that cost about $300., it was almost impossible to get on & I returned it, I tried one with a elastic thing that tied to the shoe but after a few hours it pulled the shoe strings and kept having to retighten them. I then tried to fabricate one myself, three tries and I looked on Amazon again. I ran across this one & thought it was cheap enough to try so I decided to try it. It really helped, it was a bit uncomfortable at first, I slipped my foot into it then put my shoes on but the plastic was uncomfortable on the bottom of my foot. I’m a diabetic and wear shoes with an insert, so I put it under the insert and it worked great! The only thing I would recommend is they put the air valve up higher because the tongue of the shoe is over top & will deflate it. Also the snap for the strap rotates & because it’s black I can’t get it aligned properly to snap it up, I’m going to try to glue it? But all and all, I’m happy!
