Each pack needs 3 AA batteries.
The wire is very fine, copper wire that is easy to bend into the shape you want, and have it stay in place. The light bulbs are very small, fine fairy lights, so more is needed to make a tree look ‘full’, so I ordered more than needed and it is perfect (I put 3 strings on my Eid tree, but can easily put on 4). Overall, easy to unravel and hang (or bend into the exact shape you want) due to the copper wire. Would recommend!

Look great but…
These look fantastic and the timer works great. But the cable they are strung along is very thin and can kink easily. Take care and they will look awesome.
