Q: can i use it with delta max 1600?

You mean "Chain", "Parallel", or "Series". The answer is no, I have not seen anyone successfully pair two different models of ecoflows but you can on some models buy the extra battery. There are some YouTube videos of people extending the watts/amps with there own types of cables and batteries, but what you have paid for it, I would highly suggest you don't do that.

Q: How do I open the lidded storage on top of the battery?

On the battery for the Delta, there should be a darker gray button on top of the battery storage compartment to press down and the lid should pop open. I had one that got stuck and used a thin screwdriver to pry it up while pressing down on it just enough to release the latch to open in. Hope this helps.

Q: Would 600 solar watts be too much

When you plug the unit into to the household outlet you get 15-amp 120-volt circuit: 15 amps x 120 volts = 1,800 watts so it seems like it should work. But remember the unit has "smart" chips in it to slowly charge the battery. 600 watts should work on paper but it is overkill. A 100, 120, or 200 watts solar panel is perfect to slowly charge the unit to extend the battery life. If you store the power station for a long period of time only charge it to 80% and it should last "forever".

Q: Does this come with the battery cable?

The only way to charge this battery is to hook it up to the main delta unit while it is charging. This makes it impossible to use separately while waiting for main unit to charge. Both unit batteries discharge continulrsslyy
