Experimental Slug Deterent for Salad Leaves...
I have high hopes for this in my tiny garden as a way to grow mixed salad leaves in a slug-resistant environment ...It's a l-o-n-g way to climb!Sound construction-two loops at the top make it easy to hang on a couple of masonary nails or a couple of heavy duty hooks. The felt material is strong and retains water well. although may need a more attentive approach watering in hotter weather....Needs regular watering in hot weather...the photo suggests a need to locate the bottom pocket in a container- which would certainly make sense...Wish I'd thought of that!
