What i read of it was very good , it was long.

This book is a short summary of a few exploits of Jack Hays when he was a Texas Ranger. Written from the point of view of someone who was present. It does contain some biographical information.

This quick read left me wanting to learn more about the legend. It still was entertaining. Three more words required?

A well written short story about an extremely capable fighter. It would have been interesting to learn more about his early life.

I thought this was a biography about Jack Hays instead of a short run through of a few of his battles.

Not what I expected. I thought a more comprehensive biography was in this book.
