Absolute rubbish description is totally incorrect, this is not a diagnostic tool this is meant to be an ecu programming tool, it doesnt do either as the circuit board is faulty.

WORKS FOR: mk1 pd100 atd fabia 1.9tdiCONS: it self destructs after 10 uses.This is actually quite a good tool, although it does destroy itself after 10 uses. I have tried 2 others on amazon, one kess tool and one other mpps tool, neither of these worked on my fabia (theyd either give checksum error or security error). The software on this is pretty easy to install, just drag it into your C: drive. It didnt work on a virtual machine, but worked fine on windows 10 for me.Overall pretty positive, just a shame it destroys itself after 10 uses.On the software there are loads of other cars, loads of other edc15s. It comes with some checksum verification, but it doesnt work, you should find some other software to do your checksums.

Not a diagnostic tool at all, this is for reading the ECU & Rewriting it.This is totally wrong and is not an OBD reader at all, this is a specific tool for connecting to the ECU and reading the binary data on it, This will clone the ECU bios data where you can use other programs to change default fuel, air and ignition timings and amounts on tables to then use this tool to re-upload the data back to the ECU.A generic bit of kit that should not be trusted unless you know what you are doing full stop, not for the average person who wants to fault find a problem one bit.
