My mother used to work as a groom for a wealthy polo pony owner (The Duke of Edinburgh0 but I've never seen an actual live match, so found this a good grounding. I sometimes catch a match on Horse & Country tv (on Sky in the UK), but think I have a greater understanding thanks to Lauren's clear descriptions.I now feel inspired to give it a go myself. I'll definitely add polo to my bucket list of horse sports. We (I already ride astride and sometime side-saddle). We have couple of clubs within an hour's drive from home. Thank you Lauren....now, which position to aim to play in...1, 2, 3 or 4???
