Good for video and photos
One of the best purchases I’ve made for my camera set up. I have this and the 35mm. Both work amazing and create great photos and videos.

Availability and competitive price
The lens qualities are well known by those that want this, but Amazon also made it easy to find and at a competitive price.

Great Quality
I was a little skeptical of this lens when I first bought it. However It has not disappointed, this lens is amazing at the price point, and it makes shooting on my FX3 a lot better. I can certainly recommend this lens and if anything does act up with this lens I can edit post.

Disposable junk. Optic misaligned after 1 year and light use.
In general I love Samyang/Rokinon lenses. This one however became severely misaligned after light use right at the 1 year mark, and Samyang support said would require $135/hr to service it as was basically a week out of warranty. Severely disappointed especially as compared to other lenses that have lasted me for nearly a decade and much more use and abuse that are still going strong.

Hay que analizar alternativas muy competitivas antes de comprar este lente.
La imagen del lente es buen calidad en relación a su precio, podríamos decir que tienes look de cine. Es ideal para montarlo en un estabilizador y completarlo con 2 lentes más.Lo califico con 3 estrellas porque el Foco Manual se volvía loco, cuando movía el anillo un poco rápido comenzaba a buscar el foco de forma automática. Solucioné este problema actualizando el Firmware, para hacerlo tuve que comprar el adaptador.Otro punto es que se siente al tacto de la mano como plástico "barato" veremos como reciste el paso del tiempo.Creo que hay otras alternativas a considerar antes de adquirir este lente, como por ejemplo la serie Aurora de Sirui.

Clean
Compared with my G master and only difference I can notice is the whites were more of a pure white with this lens. Hoping they come with electronic nd filters or anamorphic adapters for the front! Samyang??
