The scent of this sculpting clay is surprisingly good, and the quality really stands out. It strikes a rare balance between pliability and hold, which I didn’t think was possible, but this product proved me wrong. A little goes a long way, and it keeps my curly, semi-coarse hair in place without feeling stiff or heavy. Works well, smells great, and washes out easily. I’ll definitely be buying it again.

I like the smell, the light hold and the fact that I can pass my hand through my hair and not feel grossed out. I also like the slight tincture of it. It has a darker side to it, and I have dark brown hair, but I can see this product not being for lighter colored hair. I think this is for dark hair only, to be honest. As I have darker hair, I think it’s perfect for me, but I would warn others with blond hair to not use this, because of the slight tint. Other than that, I get compliments often about the smell. It fits me and it’s not too overwhelming. I don’t put much product. I get out of the shower and lightly pad my hair to be wet, not soaked. I then put this in my palm and massage it between my hands and apply it everywhere. Right now, I have middle long hair that need direction. This is perfect. It works great when I have short hair too, for a sort of messy look, but effortless, like I actually didn’t do anything, but worked on it like an architect. :p With my longer hair, right now, after application, I brush it to dress it and use a comb to fluff them. It looks awesome within 10-15 minutes when the hair is completely dry… I highly recommend this is your have darker hair, straight hair.

I love this product - I was looking for one for a while before I settled on this. It has the perfect balance of hold, finish and price. It takes me little time to style my hair with this in the morning, I don’t have to be harsh to my hair, washes off easy and I love the smell (it’s not a natural smell, but I like it - smells fresh). Plus, it is made right here in Southern California. Highly recommend, I already have it on a recurring order.

I have medium length hair and pretty much use some type of hair clay/gel daily. I've had a hard time looking for a hair product that really worked for me after trying multiple clays. I found this at target a while back and really loved it but they stopped carrying it at my local store. Its not super sticky like other hair products I've used in the past and washes out easily with water after your done applying. I typically use a small finger scoop in the morning and it typically last me a whole month before I have to get a refill. As far as how it holds, it does a pretty good job. Definitely holds the best when you first apply it and my hair slowly falls a bit through the day but that's because I run my fingers through my hair often. It doesn't have a shine to it which I love and keeps my hair looking natural. As far as the smell goes, it smells like eucalyptus it me and doesn't have a strong sent like others have said. Overall I say give it a try its worked for me and I'm going to keep using it.

Good product. The hold isn’t strong!

Used this product before but now the recipe has a sour/foul smell.

The hold is absurdly weak, the fragrance is also unpleasant and lingers far too long. Do not recommend.
