I wear a women's 10-½ in hiking boots (street shoes a size 10) and I ordered the size LARGE. I am assuming you could go with a size MEDIUM especially if you are not using them for hiking boots

Q: How well do they hold up tromping through snow?

I think these shoes are great and comfortable to wear. Thanks to this pair of shoes walking on ice and snow will not slip. Great for wearing while working in the snow.
