I must have one of every kind of gold thread, but when I got this it was an instant winner. I now use this for all my tambour work. Glides like a dream. Firm yet doesn’t kink.

I’m not an expert on metallic thread, but it seemed about as good as any brand. Thin metal wire wrapped around a poly core. It didn’t break more or less than other brands. I was hoping it would be shinier, but it’s average.

One of the worst threads I have ever used. Strands separate and are very difficult to use. Even fray check a product I have used before did not help. The strands separate and are fragile and break. Completely useless.

I like it for crafts. Pretty but sturdy!
