Good purchase
Good magnetic base looks like it will last for many years. Worked great on 2 meter Repeters not had chance to try on 70cm yet due to lockdown. Good value

Really a nice looking & amazing reliable super performance antenna. Most valuable if the coaxial cable of the antenna is too bigger. Nevertheless most value for money. Rate is too much high compare from other sites but always think of genuineness.

My conclusions after conducting several range tests: - Performs WORSE across UHF (including GMRS) than the standard HT ("walkie") stock 8" rubber duckie antenna. - Performs BETTER on VHF than the stock 8". Disclaimer: I only tested the one Tram 1185 that I ordered. Maybe it's defective? Even if so, not worth returning: will keep as VHF ant. Test conditions: - Tested multiple frequencies at the center and edges of the specified 435-450 MHz tuning range. I realize the 462/467 GMRS frequencies are outside this antenna's range, but the poor results were found at ~440 MHz. - Ant mounted magnetically on car. - Tested 8W transmitter using both stock ant, and the Tram, at various distances and terrains. Funny: the 19" Tram 1185 on a car with a 20W transmitter performed EQUAL to a 8W HT with 8" stock! On VHF (~147.580) the Tram was received about 30% clearer (~+2dB) than the stock 8", so that's about what I'd expect and hope for. Rating: I still rate this 3/5 because it's inexpensive, has a long 12" cable, and the magnet base hold strong.

Eine top Antenne, nach etwas Einstellung ( Strahler lässt sich verschieben) habe ich auf beiden Bändern ein SWR von 1: 1,2
