This kettle makes pour over coffee a breeze. The spout is correctly angled to allow complete control over the flow of water. This is the second kettle I have purchased since an enclosed handle on the first kettle resulted in a nasty burn. I highly recommend this kettle.

The media could not be loaded.  This gooseneck mini kettle is the perfect size for 1 or 2 servings of pour over coffee or 2-3 bags of tea.The unique gooseneck pouring spout allows the boiling water stream to be easily directed over all areas of a pour over coffee filter so that all of the water won't just end up in the center of the ground coffee. It gives you perfect control.There is a steam vent on the lid that can also serve as a port for inserting a small stem thermometer so you can bring your brew to the correct temperature for what you're making. It's perfect for herbal tea, too.The small kettle holds 20 oz. and it can be carried to the serving area or packed up to take out in a boat, on camping trips, hotel stays, etc. It's made of a heavy gauge stainless steel, but unfortunately, the instructions say that it isn't induction compatible.The compact kettle is attractive (mine is brushed stainless steel) and it would look great in any kitchen or on any serving tray. I like ice tea, and I'll brew my tea and chill it in the same container, then pour over ice!It works great for pour over coffee and allows me to make a very strong brew without bothering with my other brewer - this one is easy to clean!

It’s not intended to actually heat the water. If you put it on the stove it simply blows the water out it’s spout as it heats up. So it’s not really a kettle, just a tiny pour over pitcher.If you don’t mind transferring your hot water into it, then you’ll probably like the way it pours.

Kettle comes packaged nicely in marked box. It stands about 5" high. There is a measuring guide engraved inside the kettle. 20 oz is 2.5 cups.The user manual is on the back of the box. It specifically states that it is recommended that you pour boiling water into the kettle instead of heating the kettle. The body and the lid heat up during use. The whole thing is stainless steel, including the handle. This makes it not really stove compatible, as described on Amazon, unless you are using a hot pad to pick it up and pour it. I would much rather have a kettle that I can heat and pour. It needs a silicone handle/sleeve.Overall, it has a nice finish. It pours smoothly, as described. The lid stays in place while pouring.I think there are better options out there, at similar prices.

I ordered this kettle because we've been doing a lot of pour-over coffee and I was using the normal kettle but it came out a little aggressively. I felt like if I was going to do a pour over, I should actually commit and get the right kind of kettle.I loved this little kettle! Especially because it's small. it holds 2 cups of water, and you can heat it up on a gas stove. The base is pretty small, so you have to balance it correctly, and because my gas stove seems to have a "aggressive" setting, the handle was hot. Use oven mitts, fam. Learn from my mistake.I got the brass/gold top and it all looks so nice! The one gripe I have is the name on the side - I wish they would have toned it down a little because it kind of cheapens the item.I plan to take this traveling with us next time so I can make us coffee on the go.

This gooseneck kettle is a great size for making a cup of pour over coffee or a mug full of teat for those times when it is just me. I, myself, can drink tea all day. I switch from black tea to herbal tea in the afternoon. And I like to make a fresh tea each time. Having a small and BEAUTIFUL kettle just for myself makes it feel like a luxury and a beautiful indulgence. The kettle is quite small for a traditional burner on the stove. We have a smaller burner for simmering that works perfectly with this little kettle. It does heat the water to a boiling point without sending flames up the side of the little kettle and is ideal for this purpose. The kettle cleans up quite easily and the finish has held up to daily washings since we received it over the holidays. I am very happy with it.

This pot is so beautiful at a reasonable price and works well for pour overs.
