These are a bit more money than typical ones but they are all aluminum with no plastic. I bought a couple to start then bought a couple more on my wife’s request. We have a long clothesline and the plastic ones just didn’t cut it.

I made my own 'Amish' clothesline out of a child's bicycle. These work great, keeping the line taught and the clothesline from sagging down.

Made of metal so it should stand up to the elements in NY. Very easy to use. Purchased 3 and a tightener for my long clothesline.

These make using a long clothesline possible.

Tried to love it. Does hold the clothesline together perfectly. It also makes black marks all over the clothes that are next to it. I tried to scrub it clean with a scrubbie and Dawn but then my hands became black as did my scrubber. I’m tossing it in the dishwasher next to see if I can finally get it clean enough so it doesn’t mark up my sheets. If that doesn’t work I’m sending it back.

I have an outdoor clothes line and I need line separators to prevent sagging on the long line. I go through the plastic variety often since they break after being out in the elements all the time. I couldn’t find them in stores anymore and then came upon these metal ones so I bought them. I love how the outdoors’s dry and sanitize my bed linens . I also do bath towels as well because I love how fresh they smell. The sun is the best sanitizer. Saving money on not using the dryer is a bonus!

Very robust product! However, the gaps near the wheels are rather large and can get snagged on articles of clothing and jamb the pully line. Not a good situation when to rectify the situation one has to go get a ladder (my situation.)

I bought this years ago and it is still in perfect working order even though it has been outside on the clothes like for years at this stage.

This is a sturdy well made splitter, should last a lot longer than my previous one which had plastic wheels. Good value for money. Not too heavy, Easy to use, and the design better prevents it being thrown off the line in a wind.
