Metal Earth Premium Series USS Constitution 3D Metal Model Kit Fascinations

That sucked… and I loved it. 😂😂😂 Long build that takes 8-10 hours of your time and a LOT of your patience. This is the second metal model I’ve made, and my novice skillset didn’t hinder me too terribly much. You’ll need some additional tools to allow this to be considered a possible build for a beginner. The ship is small, but looks fantastic once you’re done. In regards to value: at 20 dollars it’s a good way to kill time on a Saturday for cheap. It’s durable once built, but very fall-apart-y while it’s in construction; so have a clean clear surface to work at and remember to just take a break whenever the interior row of cannons inside the hull fall off for the fourth time.

The ship comes out beautiful if you know what you're doing and test the limits of your patience. Not sure I'd recommend to beginners. My experience went fairly well though.

Love that each piece on the sheet is numbered so I didn't have to hunt them down in the paper instructions. Unfortunately there were several pieces that were nested together and I nearly lost them when cutting out other pieces. Otherwise the model, like many others, was fragile, difficult to put together, and can break apart if you're not careful. Overall, turns out smaller than expected but sturdy and stands up without tipping over. It is a neat addition to the collection or as a gift for a ship loving friend/relative.

I absolutely love the idea of these. But, they are waaaaay too small. Everyone would gladly pay more for a Normal size model. This leads to the problems I've had. If you want to ONLY build micro models, then fine, LEAVE THE MAINSTREAM MODELING WORLD. It's way too frustrating to deal with. After purchasing 4 models, I'm simply done with waiting for replacement parts in the mail, only to finish a model 3 months later that's at best "OK" I already know I'm not the 1st to complain about this, so why hasn't it happened yet? Well, I'm sick of waiting. When I receive my next shipment of replacement parts, I'll be sending you all 3 unfinished models. KEEP THE EFFIN MONEY

I have made many of these models but this one has to be the worst one I have built. Pieces super tiny and very difficult to get in there to bend. Make sure to have plenty of super glue on hand. But I do like the small size.

A very challenging metal model of the USS Constitution. Definitely not for beginners. Requires special tools to manipulate the tiny steel parts and a lot of patience. But it pays off in the end! 5/5
