This kit was extremely easy to use. It worked so much easier than any other kit i ever used! Great repair kit. Perfect sizing and great value for the dollar.

this thread repair is as advertised and will work for most thread repair needs but you need to know it is missing the bottom swell that locks it in place that time-serts use. When installing use a thread locker like lok-tite during the install of the insert because the swell to lock in during installation is not there. That said I didn't notice and assuming it had one snapped my insert tool on the 1st installation. Since these don't have a swell no insert tool is needed- just use a bolt/screw. Overall value is good but consider if you need a true lock in feature before purchase.

Great value and worked well where helicoil didn’t hold up.

Better than wire style thread repair

All of the tools provided worked great. I tried to use this kit with a different m6 20mm thread sert, and the thread sert would not seat at all. I then used one of the original m6 12mm provided with the kit and it worked like a champ. Thanks for saving my bacon.

All was good until it was time to use the tap , when removing it snapped with little to no effort and now the other end is stuck. If you’re getting the kit i would definitely recommend getting a better tap atleast
